I was allocated room 204. The noise from the local night club was terrible, until after 03h00 in the morning. i travel for business and this requires my attention and concentration. I cannot sleep due to the terrible noise. I am considering changing hotels. I have stayed at Protea for about twenty years, but this is unacceptable!!!!!!
Your WiFi keeps dropping. Even in the room, I have to continually re-connect. Whilst visiting my customer, I am allowed access to their Wi-Fi, I have no problem, but at Protea, I have to continually reconnect.

Great place, great location, had everything I needed for my short stay. Breakfast was great not just because it was free but because they have a Thai chef and he perfectly inserted just the right Thai while still giving us the western breakfast. The evening meal and local night entertainment was grade A. Already planning my next trip, can’t wait.

As a family, Malaika furnished apartments was our perfect fit. It's a home away from home. Exceptional ambiance, top-notch cleanliness, and the room amenities offer a real home comfy feel.
With the serenity it offers, being detached from the chaotic busy centre, we are planning to re-visit this place already.

Amazing food, kind and helpful people! Uganda weather is so nice 75° Fahrenheit average temp! Situated right on the equator! If you come to Kampala and Ugamda as a whole you will be impressed by the people's spirit!
A bit of an odd Hotel but good, central location.
Opposite a bakery which is nice for meetings or get dinner even delivered to the hotel if needed.
It's luckily not noisy during the nights, just the traffic from the road when it picks up in the morning.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
More or less value for money, especially if you get a good deal, given the high hotel prices in Kampala in general.
The hotel is not very big and offers a quiet and beutiful environment in central Kololo, Kampala. Within walking distance from Acacia mall and plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
The hotel has also a Taiwanese restaurant that is very good and the restaurant area is also very green and gorgeous.
