if you’re looking for a laidback vibe, amazing people and comfortable place in Zanzibar. This is it! it has direct beach access, a nice pool and probably some of the best food / breakfast. They have an amazing massage service too which I would highly recommend. The people that work there are absolutely amazing too! we loved our time there and can’t wait to go back one day.

If you like large good value for money hotels and you are looking for all inclusive then this is for you. I opted for this hotel for the safari option and for that reason it was well worth it. Book local hire taxis and next time I would stay at a smaller hotel not catering for the masses, but that’s my fault for not researching it more. Just not sure a hotel that size works in that location.

Although it is far from the airport, being on the south side...
Although it is far from the airport, being on the south side of the Island, this hotel is located very conveniently. There is a turtle cave, a swimming cave and dolphin viewing within 15 minutes drive from the hotel. I did not need to find restaurants as the hotel provided all meals.

Jambiani is a great place to visit when you aren't looking for an extremely busy beach with lots of noise. That being said, there were still "beach parties" with noise until about midnight. Be aware of the high and low tides, and plan your activities accordingly. Several great restaurants and bars on the small walkable beach. Always felt safe as a solo female traveler.
i have been tanzania more than 10 years and i visited Zanzibar many times and stayed different hotels when i was there.Fun Beach Hotel is one of the BEST staff i ve ever seen..They sooo polite and helpful,even i suprised how they became like this,normally people here around a little bit lazy and relax ;)) but Fun beach Hotel staf was so kind and great...
And good place espacially for a family.The kids spend good time with pools
New Teddy's is like paradise, a lot of corners to relax, great breakfast and good dinner. We had an excellent tour in the village with cooking class with the Hotel guide and musician Coco, who also helped us in organizing our way back to Stone Town passing by Josiani Park and a spice farm. Thanks Coco. Great place to enjoy the beach and at the same time discover Zanzibar life!
This hotel is right on the beach. You can get up every morning, and swim before breakfast! The rooms are clean and the decor is awesome. The bed was comfortable, and we had fresh sheets & towels everyday. Breakfast is fresh fruit, eggs, toast, pancakes… so much food! The staff here are amazing too. They are extremely kind and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!
Fantastic hotel in the front of the beach. Breakfast was served on the therrase of each bungalow. All the people was very nice, especially Savio and Anna. Jambiani is one of the best beaches in Zanzibar.

My girlfriend and I chose to spend the last couple of nights of our trip to Tanzania at Passion Boutique Hotel and were not disappointed. It is nice with good food and the perfect place to relax. Everybody working here is so nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel to everybody planning to visit Jambiani/Paje.

Dhow resort was fabulous! Beach front location was awesome. Great food and drinks. Everyone in the hospitality staff was excellent, professional, friendly, and they made our stay so comfortable it felt like home away from home. First visit to Zanzibar was epic because of everyone at Dhow!
Loved the helpful staff! The room was perfect for us and felt private. Even though the beach is right in front, we loved the pools that they have and really relaxed during our stay. Would definitely recommend staying at Fun Beach Hotel and would book again when coming back to Zanzibar :)
Enjoyed our stay in Jambiani Backpakers. Super nice hostel in peaceful area close to the beach. They have made the common areas so beautiful and relaxed. We stayed in private room and also in dorm, both were good. Best wifi we have had in Tanzania and cutest little kitty!!

Breakfast was great, changed slightly each and every day, fresh juice, coffee, pastries! Staff were unbelievably friendly and very accomodating. Room comfortable, dinner and lunch fantastic and the beach bar felt like a different location but the same hotel.
