I was greeted by the owner and the staff were helpful. The room was very comfortable and nice. The bed was the most comfortable bed I ever been on. Food was out of this world. Dinner and breakfast was good.

The lake is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. It is not the most accessible by public transport, however. If you like adventure, then you can take the bus (I also took a ferry because the bus coming into the area stops on one side of the lake). If you have the option of renting a car, I would recommend doing that, as it will make your trip more comfortable. Overall, Sun Moon Lake is wonderful, as well as the surrounding area. There are so many activities.

Most places in Shuishe were booked so I got this place about 10-15 walking minutes along the lake shore path. I recommend finding something in Shuishe, which is where the cute town and the boat piers are.

Nice place, Sun Moon Lake great fun, the cycling is great and well mapped and no one tries to kill you like they do in my home country of Australia, food nice, people friendly. The boat on the lake and cable car look fun, but I ride all day the moped to Puli the next day, so I'll try them next visit.

The place is far (about 20 minutes drive) from the shuishe visitor center, after 5pm, you will have to get a taxi to get there, try to stay near the shuishe visitor center which will be more convenient for travel.

Lake B & B was located on the Shuishe side of the lake steps from the trail that circles the lake. The room was quite spacious and clean. Our breakfast was served at a time of our choosing on the top floor in a gorgeous glass room overlooking the lake. The staff was eager to meet all of our requests. We had a choice of a Western or Taiwanese breakfast and asked for tea, coffee, and milk. We highly recommend this hotel!
It’s very quiet. We heard birds singing all the time. The accommodation is so clean and very beautiful. We love the well balanced breakfast that were offered by the property. It’s less than ten minutes walk from the bus depot. From the bus depot we can catch buses to Taichung, Taipei and local areas. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. The dock is by the bus depot where you can catch boats for touring the magnificent Sun Moon Lake. Highly recommend this hotel for staying at Sun Moon Lake. We will definitely come and stay here again.
Location is good, really near the bus stop :) Staffs were nice and friendly! Air con and fan was only on one side of the room (and it’s not very strong either) though, my bed was all the way towards the end and it was kinda hot… But I love their bed, there’s small “shelfs” and mirror along the bed, which is what some other capsule hotels don’t offer D: Walls are not really sound proof, the owner has children and it gets kinda annoying sometimes hearing them whining (understandable because they are kids but still…) 🤠
A newly built hotel at Sun Moon Lake. Rooms are extremely comfortable to fit 4 adults with luggages, still has room to accommodate 4 more comfortably for casual chatting.
Bathtub is available, toiletries provided. Breakfast tastes so good!

Sun Moon Lakeside Boutique Hotel more than exceeded our expectations. We booked the day before arriving after deciding last minute to visit Sun Moon Lake. We booked 2 rooms, 1 of which had lake views which were amazing. The whole place was immaculate and clean, very well equipped and comfortable. The beds were also very big. I am recommending this place to everyone as it more than exceeded my expectations. Thank you!
We loved the location and the view from the balcony. The room was very spacious and we really enjoyed our time there. It was a great spot to see the lake and the nearby amusement park. We also loved the chicken rice from the stall out the front. It really was the icing on the cake for our Sun Moon Lake stay.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sun Moon Lake Lakeside B&B. We enjoyed that it was on the quiet side of the lake, with easy access to the walking trail/bike path. The host was gracious, responsive, and served an excellent breakfast. We would stay here again on our next trip to the area.
The owner was very friendly and nice. She helped us with our luggage to get to her property, simple check in. The home hotel is in a very nice location, convenient to the Sun moon lake, the bus station, and places to eat.

A luxurious hotel in Sun Moon Lake. It is definitely an older building but it has modern furnishings inside. The breakfast buffet was decent but had limited options (Taiwanese or basic Western). It's attached to Shuishe Pier so you can walk out for a beautiful view of the sunrise/sunset.
Hotel is right at the Ita Thao night market, surrounded by lots of food. The room offers an excellent view of the lake. Room although is abit old but is spacious and clean.

The location is great, only 15 min walk or 5 min drive to Shuishe visitor center. Hotel also provides free bikes, but some of them really need to be serviced. Breakfast was good, a variety of Chinese and western food. The hotel shuttle staff was very courteous and helpful.
The hotel was so clean and cute! Also in a very convenient location near the bus station, lake, and many shops and restaurants. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was fabulous. It made for a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

The room was really moldy, but at least the breakfast was nice. If you want to travel to Sun Moon Lake, I highly recommend to do it as a day trip since all hotels seem to have comparably low value for money.
