Winnie and her staff were wonderful. Helped us with scuba scheduling, discounted hot springs Tix, getting scooters right away, and picking us up/dropping us off at the ferry port. Every need attended to. Tasty breakfasts to start the day. Highly recommend.

The host and hostess provided extras like I never saw before. A delicious dinner, a private tour around the island and even contacting other property for us all for free.

Absolutely fantastic B&B. Ian, the fantastically helpful host, contacted us beforehand to arrange luggage pickup at Lyudao harbor and helped us rent two electric scooters. In addition to the other glowing reviews posted here, I'd add that the B&B is located on the quiet side of the island with a stunning view of the bay. The somewhat secluded location made for a fantastically relaxing stay. Don't worry about being isolated though, all major attractions are easily reachable by scooter in about 15 minutes.

like the Island so much, there are so many beautiful place on the Island and also the sea , I like to go there to dive again
but suggest to change or turn off some bright street light on Ziping and Da Bai Sha, as there are affecting the darkness sky view for the stars
And I also recommend the guides of night tours do not use strong lazer bin to show people the star at the skies near little great wall area or everywhere

Taiwan has a lot of island getaway you can choose from and Green Island is one of the top choice you can make. It takes a little less than an hour to travel from the Taitung port. Lots of activities you can choose from snorkelling, scuba diving, trekking, hot springs, or just frolicking in the beach, there is always something to do here. Renting a scooter is a must. Lots of bars and restaurants that can cater to young and young ones in heart. My kids really enjoyed snorkelling a lot. You don't need to go the middle of the sea, the tour can just take you to the beach and instantly enjoy snorkel.

This tiny little island will never disappoint you!
This tiny little island will never disappoint you! Definitely worth your time and money! We were there for 3days and 2 nights but it could be easily done in 2 days 1 night if you are running short of time. Do rent a bike and surely take a sea activity of your choice.

Green island was beautiful!
Green island was beautiful! We took a ferry over, I would highly recommend taking some medicine to help with seasickness before you go, several people were sick on our ferry on the way over. First of all, I want to clarify this is not an island with sandy beaches to swim at and read a book on a beach chair, if you are looking for that kind of spot check out Kenting, Yilan or Hualien. Green Island is a treasure of its own, with all the coral reefs, tidepools, mountainous and beach views, and close-knit community. We explored the tidepools on different beaches around the island, a cave near Sleeping Beauty Rock, and hiked a few shorter paths. We also enjoyed Zhaori hot spring which had a fantastic view, and a great selection of springs (including two natural springs closer to the beach). The Little Great Wall was also a delightful stop, for its architecture and the views. We enjoyed the abundance of fresh seafood and mango shaved ice (always crowd pleasers.) The Island also offers snorkeling, which we did not participate in this time because of the age of our small children, but we hope to return when they are older and partake in that experience as well. Overall, the air was fresh, the scenery was beautiful and the whole island had a laid-back feel. I would recommend having a few full days to thoroughly explore all the spots and get some snorkeling in if you are able.

Green Island has some beautiful landscapes and scenery and if you come off season you can get a feel of how the island was before tourism. There is a nice hike across the middle of the island and the island itself can be covered in few hours on a scooter / or walk around it in 4-5 hours.
Snorkeling is pretty decent - I didn't manage to try scuba diving - good food options.
Downside is that it is like many places in Taiwan over-developed especially in the high season with groups of scooters roaming around the island and large groups of people.
