I hope it will be cleaner more especially in the comfort room and behind the cabin because there is a little trash and they will pay more attention to it so that the guests will be more happy and the inside of the room will be comfortable and fragrant.

Fair Warning: Kenting requires bike or scooter/car for the common traveler/backpacker. Some people I met thought the area was underwhelming and boring.
However, the scenery along the roads is gorgeous, and YouBikes are available. Scooters more convenient for most on hot days (it will get very hot in summer).
The landscape and laid back environment is what draws me here.

Due to health reasons, we arrived to Kenting later than we had planned. It is definitely worth spending a couple of days there. The landscapes are so beautiful and the people and the vibe are so friendly and relaxed. If you are planning to enjoy the beach, I would recommend doing a small research beforehand, as not all beaches are accessible and swimmable due to the national park protection or because some beach areas are reserved for hotel guests.

Kenting was quite busy at night with the night market along the main street. There was a good atmosphere and lots to see and do.
We visited the lighthouse one day using the local bus. We had another day on the beach.
We ate at a local family restaurant in the evening which was frequented by locals. They served vegetarian food and local fish.( I did a Google review of the restaurant the name is in Chinese )

There are two beautiful beached in Kenting Avenue area. Since Kenting Avenue is a commercial night street and quite pricy, not really worthy the price for street food. It's very convenient to take Kenting shuttle bus although it takes some waiting time and there is unfortunately no digital bus arrival announcement.

We wanted to do some hikes, which was possible and quite nice. Unfortunately, for our three days, we could not find as many hikes, as we would have liked to do.
The "volunteer" at the Visitor Center in Kenting was not helpful at all. We specifically asked for hikes (she spoke English), but she was not able to provide us with information, or at least to tell us, that the maps would be available at the respective gates.

It's getting more and more popular and it's getting more polluted too. It's getting to the point that some of the out of the way beaches are absolutely disgusting. A lot of the garbage comes from the ocean but people leave their garbage too-I saw a diaper left behind on one beach. Someone needs to organize a serious beach clean up!
The location is perfect: only 1 minute by walk from Kenting Night Market, but this distance is enough to enjoy a perfectly quiet room; the beach is in a few minutes walking distance. Major sightseeing places are within 10-15 min driving distance. The room is small but very clean, the beds are enormous and very comfortable. Particularly recommended for families, our 6-years-old girl loved the Hello Kitty room. The owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful. An excellent price vs. quality balance, highly recommended.
Great location at the end of the night market, and 5 mins from a great beach for swimming and lounging, with a bar run by one of the big hotels.
The hotel is family run (and extremely helpful especially for helping us arrange logistics for some day trips) and they were brilliant.akways on hand, giving tips and bringing us fresh fruit.
Room was clean and quiet with a small balcony looking out into the street to watch the fun and games down at the night market.

I like the place. Its not noisy even though its in the highway of night market. The host are very approachable. She is nice and attentive. Will recommend this to my friends. Emily is the host name if i say it correctly. She can communicate in english. Good for a non taiwanese like me
Ps. I choose this hotel because its easy to locate. 1floor of the building is 7/11. Across the road is cosmed. And its near the police station. So its more of a safe location for a solo traveler like me.

There is a cool-looking bar in the hotel. Unfortunately it was closed during our stay.
If you visit Kenting, which I wouldn't necessarily recommend, this hotel is an enjoyable option.
Location was really good, right in the middle of Kenting main street. Rooms were clean and a good size. Toilet and showers were separate and comes with a big bathtub for soaking. Owners were considerate and acceded to my request for lower floor as we had an elderly with us. So, we were given a room just up a short flight of stairs. The owners were friendly and accommodating.
Kenting Original Hostel has a great location, it was easy to get to from the bus and was a very central location for enjoying the Kenting Nightmarket. It was also easy to walk to several of the smaller beaches in the area and was quiet, even in spite of overlooking the Nightmarket. The front desk woman also had the cutest dog in the world!
Clean and spacious room, very accommodating host. Walking distance to the night market, and very good included breakfast. They also have great recommendations on restaurants in the area. The host didn't speak much English, but I was traveling with relatives from Taiwan (and Google Translate works pretty well) so it wasn't a problem.
A very nice place in a tourist area, but it was the low season, very chill. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet, with good movie channels. The boss had fresh fruit everyday, she is very nice. Great beach except: no swimming, surfing, jet skies, etc. Big street market at night.
It was the best flat I have stayed in in Taiwan. First class furnishings, close to the ocean and night market.
At the time when I moved out I left some clothes in the wardrobe and I realised only 100 km away. The owner of the flat sent me my clothes very quickly to the next hotel.

Wonderful breakfast buffet. This hotel is on the beach with several pools and water activities included along with archery and other land activities.
The dinner buffet is fantastic. The dinner buffet costs extra. Staff is very helpful. Staff knows limited English.
The room is spacious and clean. The beach of Chateau Beach Resort is just on the other side of the road. Kenting night market is also walking distance. This is best location with affordable price. We really enjoyed our stay. Super recommended.
Despite the language barrier, the host was very warm and attentive to our needs. The house is very clean and tidy, in a quiet location close to the bus stop, beach and restaurants. We had a relaxing stay in Kenting area!
