- Önder, our host, was super helpful from first contact and during our stay, proving us with lots of useful local information. All staff were very kind and courteous throughout.

- The breakfast was amazing !! Best-ever homemade jams, eggs cooked to order, bread, cheeses, and a large sampling of Turkish delicacies (eg. sweet chickpea butter which the kids loved) as well as western staples (eg. Nutella)… and the view from the breakfast terrace is absolutely incredible !

From the time of the check in I noticed the attention of the employees to cover all our needs, starting from the concierge guys then the receptionists especially Mr. Resul and Mr. Burak and after that the housekeepers who puts plenty of towels to be used in the balcony and for the jacuzzi, everything was available and didn’t have to request essentials such as the shower cap, loofa, etc. I noticed that they care about all their guests and treating each family as a precious and important guest, this level of service I used to see it in a 5-star hotels in Europe, the employees in all their divisions including the restaurant in the terrace were welcoming the guests every time they pass by the terrace. The atmosphere was amazing and so relaxing. The hotels was superb and one of the best hotels in Cappadocia. Don’t miss the balloon’s trip, it worth the experience, you can find several tourism offices so close and walking distance from the hotel, check the differences between them before you decide which one to go for. Also, there is a green tour and red tour for sightseeing, be careful in these tours, there is a lunch break included in the price of the tour, not all the companies offer soft drinks , even the water they might charge you, so check with the office or the hotel first then with the tour guide before making your order to be in the safe side.

Mehmet if very friendly and responsive person. It was a great pleasure to communicate with him. He was always online and replied to all requests very fast. He helped me very much in organizing transfers and fun activities. He arranged hot air balloon flight for good price and arranged horseback riding. First I had group horseback riding tour, but for me it wasn't enough and after that Mehmet organized private horseback riding with fast galloping for me. That was a great experience.
I also had to work for couple of days during my stay, I made video calls and Wi-Fi quality was good enough for it. I'm happy that I have chosen this hotel, I wish to come back here again.

Property was in a quiet location and a nice area to walk around to explore. It had stunning views. Breakfast was good, with the staff on hand to provide anything needed. Hakan is an excellent host who looked after us and helped to arrange tours and provide information on the region. Would recommend this property to all.

We didn't spend much time here, but easy flight from Istanbul. Convenient for the balloon rides, but not directly in the town they fly from. A preferable location if you want a little more peace and quiet, and enough choices for dining. Lovely to walk around and spectacular views from many parts.

Uchisar provides great access to all the sights of Cappadocia. Our stay at La Casa offered the perfect mix of cave/building and was in a great location. The breakfast was excellent. The close by Janti Cafe is also excellent, highly recommend. One thing to note is that google gets a bit confused with the one way streets, but once you get the hang of navigating in Uchisar, it is very easy to get around and you can see the castle from many of the nearby hiking areas.

It worked great for us. We had a rental and wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the busier Goreme. If you don't have a car and are staying in Cappadocia for the first time, perhaps Uchisar is not the best option since it will limit your walking distance options of restaurants, shops and tour agencies, we loved it though and found it to be the perfect homebase to explore the region. It seems like some of the more exclusive hotels and restaurants are also in Uchisar so it depends on what works best for you.

Small town area next to the rock castle.
Small town area next to the rock castle. Quiet, with lots of restaurants. The top of the mountain has more shops and art galleries to see along with cafes. Once you step out of the area it is mostly desolated and filled with caves. There is lots of new construction going on in the peripheral area. We ate at the statehouse around our hotel and it was great. A bit expensive but gourmet like treatment. The open air museum is only 10 min away and the castle is right in the center of Uchisar. Slightly away from the crowd of Goreme, Uchisar was just right. The property was close to the castle which made it convenient. The pigeon valley entrance is a km on foot so makes for a great walk. Personally between Goreme and Uchisar, I preferred Uchisar as it's quieter and had more luxe options. Also the views were amazing and we spent quite a bit of time sitting in the terrace taking in the country air.

Uchisar is an incredible small town with a beautiful medieval section that is wonderfully thriving. Clean, friendly, with laid back dogs roaming the streets, and the home of Uchisar castle. Pigeon Valley has its own mystique and overall the town touches something inside of you that makes you want to stay longer.
It’s a very nice and convenient place to stay during a trip in Cappadocia. Parking in front of the hotel, but it’s in walking distance to every places to visit, just 5’ to Uchisar castle, 10’ to Uchisar hashtag symbol, 13’ to pigeon valley, so we didn’t really need to use car. The hotel owner was very nice and welcoming. The room was spacious, with all needed amenities, the bed was pretty comfy as well. The breakfast was included in the room price, and was large with various kind of cheeses, ham, eggs, jams… Totally recommend it!
Everything was perfecr! We liked the location of the hotel, walking distance to many nice restaurants and Uchisar Castle. Also, kind of at the middle of main attractions. Staff was helpful and kind, it is a family run hotel. Breakfast was very nice also, they always provided whatever we asked for.
Rooms are quite big and clean, nicely designed. Bathroom also is spacious. The garden and the rooftop are worth mentioning, we liked and enjoyed them.
we’d definitely go back there on our next visit.
This place is Gold! It is the perfect balance between modern comfort and cave living. The tranquility setting of the hotel and it’s ambience was the best way to unwind after a day of exploring beautiful Cappadocia. The owner, Mr Mehmet, has put his heart into Kistar Cave and it feels like a home away from home. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is a stones throw away from restaurants, banks and tourist attractions.

This is a great hotel and if you are staying in Cappadocia, this will be the perfect location. Great view from the lobby and I loved watching the sunset from the cafe. The staff was very friendly and hospitable. It's a safe place for a female solo traveller. The location is very convenient (next to the Uchisar Castle) and most of the tour companies will provide transport to this place. Also, they have their tours as well even though I couldn't try them. Highly recommended!
The location was great, close to Üçhisar Castle and with a view over the famous Cappadocian Valleys where the majority of the balloons fly. The hotel is clean and modern. The breakfast was great with multiple options, not just Turkish style. We had no trouble parking right at the door of the hotel during the multiple days we were there. The beds were super comfortable and spacious. They gave us free water and tea which was nice. The staff always helped us when we needed.
It’s my first time in cappadokia , I like the area and the mountains with the caves.
My goal was for the balloon fly trip , but I done other experiments ( like , tour in a classic car , Turkish night , camel riding and others ).
The hotel is like an graved room in the mountain , nice rooms and facilities , nice people , especially ( Roslyn , Masood , Ginga ) from reception , very helpful and mahout from the breakfast .

Staff was amazing and very helpful. The restaurant connected to the hotel also had a very delicious menu. The included breakfast was superb and you will absolutely be full afterwards. Loved my room, was a bit cold but I was provided with a heater to make my stay more comfortable. The view of Uchisar Castle is literally a few steps from your room door and you can also take a short walk to the castle to see the balloons at sunrise. Loved this hotel!
The location is amazing. We chose the room with a balcony we could have Uchişar castel as landscape scenery and we could watch the baloon departure every morning. The hotel's restaurant is definitely one of the best in Uçhisar and the breakfast is wonderful. All the employees are very nice and helpful. I would recommend it if you want a peaceful place to enjoy Cappadocia. The room is comfortable and provides what is needed.
I loved that it's a small guest house with just a few room. The place is so clean and beautiful, we could just stay in all day and just stare at the beautiful view. You get the view of the valley, you can see Goreme and the Uchisar castle. The owner and her staffs are great people and we loved chatting with them. They really took care of the place and their guests. Breakfast was perfect. I wish I could stay longer.

It was an incredible place to stay! Mehmet and his team were so friendly and made sure we were comfortable at all times. A highlight was the amazing breakfast on the terrace (made by Mehmet’s mother). I loved the location and would recommend staying in Uchisar compared to the more touristy Goreme nearby. We would 100% stay here again and recommend to any friends coming to Cappadocia.

The hotel is located in a very good spot just in front of the Uchisar castle which is few mins walk way in distance. The location is so convenient that travelling to any nearest site seeing places is very close. The staff were really good and supported well during our stay, the food was good too.
