It was a really nice stay although for one night. Staff is incredibly helpful. Shoutout to Rahman, Isa and Eric. Breakfast is good as well. You can walk to all the touristy spots or get a taxi. Hope to return one day.

The staff was great, especially the manager who let us wait in the lobby after we checked out for a long time because our flights were early the next morning. Also, the free shuttle, the free laundry, free treats and coffee and juice all day… it was an incredible value. I’ll be staying at the Rumi every time I come to Tajikistan!

I did not expect it to be a beautiful, clean, safe place to walk around even at night. Despite the language barrier, people are nice and accommodating trying to help you with direction. I noticed that the drivers are very patient and seldom use their horn and gives priority to pedestrian. Parks and trees are everywhere. Food and stay is affordable.

We had wonderful time in Tajikistan. I would highly recommend Dushanbe as a cultural experience. Tajikistan is over 90% mountains and the views are wonderful. The general populace is extremely hospitable and kind. Go informed, however. This country is small, poor, and has a corruption problem. The border guards are known to let you in without filling out an immigration card and giving you grief for it when you leave, hoping for bribes. The water is not safe to drink, and I would not recommend buying food from street vendors. If you are traveling from America, do not be surprised at small inconveniences like showers being broken, food items not on the menu, or airplanes running a couple of hours late. But these are small inconveniences. Buy your water, do your homework ahead of time on immigrations, and allow extra hours in your travel times. Relax and enjoy the scenery! You won't be sorry!

We didn't find a lot to do in Dushanbe but would absolutely recommend visiting the world's largest teahouse to see the amazing craftsmanship. Not really a teahouse and can't think of the name of it.

It's a beautiful city surrounded by mountains, it should be called city of gardens and flowers, the city has so many beautiful gardens I have not seen in any other city. Very neat and clean streets and roads, spacious walkways along roads, beautiful buildings, looks more beautiful in the night
let’s start by the complimentary airport pick up! the driver met me at the airplane door and walk me through immigration and customs. I got an upgraded room with wonderful views of the mountains. the room was spacious comfortable and clean. complimentary water bottles and kettle was a bonus. a cross the street there is a very nice market. a little restaurant called Noor was super delicious, affordable and 500m only from the hotel. breakfast was plenty. the staff is very kind and always willing to help! I highly recommended!
Our stay at Hello Dushanbe Guest House was wonderful! The staff were always there to assist us during our stay, whether it be recommending restaurants or helping us order a taxi- they also organized us a day trip to Lake Iskanderkul. The house is comfortable, rooms are clean and large, and at the end of each day, it felt like we were coming back home, and not to a hotel.
I would like to thank the guys for everything they’ve done for us during our time in Dushanbe. The good thing is they have online reception which is very rare in this areas we are 100% satisfied. The guys came to meet us at airport.the service was top!
The apartment itself is better than a 5 star hotel, very clean well organized, clean bathroom.
I booked the room late at night and it was very affordable, when I arrived to the front desk, I was welcomed by a very friendly staff member, his name is Salmon, he speaks multiple languages (Arabic, English, Russian and Tajik) and maybe more.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and peaceful.
I will definitely come back when I visit Dushanbe.
I booked a room for my mom. It's been her second stay at 'Serena Dushanbe' since last year.
We visited her there, of course. A great hotel, a spacious and cosy room, a wonderful staff and amazing location.

Probably the best place to start the trip in Tajikistan. It's not the best hostel in the world but I think it has everything you need and it gather around all the travelers so you can meet people and get help planning your trip.
The owner was very kind and helpful. It is a family business and people there will make you feel like you are at home all the time. Hotel is clean and comfortable and will stay there again when we visit Dushanbe next time
Is quietly good hotel. It is clean and comfortable. in Dushanbe it is hard to find clean hotel, so this one is surely good. A little expensive for Dushanbe, but better pay more than to stay in bad hotel
To be honest, I expected less for the price - but, it is indeed offer more for their price, good location, very friendly family. if I return to Dushanbe, I will definitely choose this hostel.
I particularly liked the location of this hotel, but other than that the entire building was very clean and the staff was nice. oh and yeah, they had excellent breakfast.
