Fantastic Foods at Ban Yai Restaurant but not many nice hotel, If you wanna stay in a really nice hotel you have to pay quite expensive... The Beach is not that great but I like the evening jogging run along the long beach front.

Pranburi is a quiet beach town.
Pranburi is a quiet beach town. It has one part which is slightly busier along the Dolphin Bay Hotel area, with more restaurant options, shops and a nicer beach, but not overwhelming. The other part is quieter and still developing but has some very nice resorts. It is impossible not relax. Lots of beach space for kids to play.

Pran Buri, is the town.
Pran Buri, is the town. The beach front area is known as 'Pak Nam Pran'. Quieter and more relaxed than Hua-Hin and Cha-Am, it's both a bit further from Bangkok and slightly better value. There are not the same range of restaurants, bars or other tourists facilities as the previously mentioned resort areas, but there is good food to be had, and some decent resorts.

We booked for 3 days to be near Kuri Buri national park to...
We booked for 3 days to be near Kuri Buri national park to go on elephant safari which was amazing! Not sure I would want to holiday there for long period. The locals need to clean up the beach from rubbish, as it could be really beautiful.
The staff was wonderful, so helpful! We asked for a transfer to another town and the front desk arranged it. We asked for bikes one day and the front desk had them delivered to the hotel for us within 30 minutes. Anything we needed was taken care of, they went above and beyond to make us happy and comfortable! There was an evening food market set up each evening near the property and we enjoyed trying the foods there. The pool was great and we had a nice ocean view from our room.
Perfect for what you can ask for at this price. Quite basic (you can’t avoid to wet the toilet seat when you shower, as an example), but reasonable size of the bedroom, a refrigerator, water boiler and some instant coffee provided. Very clean. Very friendly hosts. Just a few hundred meters from the coast, with a nice beach road for your running. Nice beach just 2 km south, with great kitesurfing spots.

The beachfront room is an amazing choice...the sunrise from the room its just outstanding as well as to see the moon rising.
If we go to the area again, this will be our choice for sure.
The bikes were great to get around on and the friendliness and hospitality of the hosts was next level excellent.
Once we found the beach we could ride to it became a nice beach and exercise holiday. Great beach, great food and great hospitality
Best small resort we have stayed in Thailand.Excellent location with the pool looking over the beach ,staff were friendly and accommodating.Breakfast was adequate few restaurants and bars along the beach road .relaxing area fairly quiet.
The staff notices every possible need and helps without asking. Remarkable service. Gorgeous, homey hotel in a great location to enjoy the local beach and fishing village. I hope to return here every year.
Probably the best resort along this beach. Fabulous staff, with very good attention to detail. Lovely room fragrances and relaxing ambience. We will definitely recommend and return to Aleenta.
