I only stayed three nights before going to Phuket. I would like to stay for a week in the future. We went to walking street once but during the day, I would like to go at night also. We visited the big Buddha which was nice.
I had trouble arranging for a visit to the elephant Sanctuary in Pattaya but did that later in Phuket.
The weather was perfect during my stay.

Central Pattaya and many tourist attractions are easily accessible from Pattaya, making the area a good base for holiday.

The advantage is the beach and view.
The advantage is the beach and view. Yet it is far away from city center during traffic time (most of the day) and it takes a long time to get into the city. We stayed at the the Royal Cliff beach hotel, an expensive luxurious hotel yet it was very disappointing due to their unpleasant staff.

I do not recommend this place at all.
I do not recommend this place at all. The reception was really bad and they treat the booking.com guests in unwelcoming way. That really made me upset. Also the key collection process was a 1 out of 10 thing to me. Why would a guest do this after spending so much of money. Bad bad bad gesture by booking.com. I will think twice from now before booking a place from booking.com !

I enjoyed the entire experience with great local facilities. Local bars and restaurants. I tried several restaurants and found the staff and standard of food excellent. The price was also great value.
Food shopping was easy and transport on the baht bus is easy, regular and great value for money.
The beaches are clean and tidy and always have staff to provide drinks and food at great prices
About the cleanliness 11/10 very, very clean more clean than a four star hotel and that says something.
You get a lot of free water bottles and a lot of free instant coffee, both are a lot better and more compared to a hotel you can drink what you want and that's important in Thailand.
If something is wrong or you need help, you can easily contact Max very nice, and very helpful.

This hotel is in an excellent location, surrounded by bars, restaurants, shops, bike rental companies and it is a short walk to the beach. All very lovely and convenient. The staff that clean the rooms are efficient and ever so friendly and helpful.
Great little balcony room in friendly guesthouse across the street from the beach! Easy check in and big room for great price. Good wifi, cable tv, hot water, A.C ect. Ideal for budget travellers who love Thailand!
Stayed here for three nights. This exceptional complex of hotels and conference center was big enough for me to never leave the premise. Several restaurants, three or four pools, private beach and a gym.
It was condo apartment and it first I was worried since the daily rent is illegal in Thailand. But the host assured me that it was alright. It was a nice stay for a good price. Recommended.
At the time of booking it was said that payment will be taken by credit card, but after going to the hotel it says only cash payment. I didn't have cash at that time. It's a boring service
