I only stayed three nights before going to Phuket. I would like to stay for a week in the future. We went to walking street once but during the day, I would like to go at night also. We visited the big Buddha which was nice.
I had trouble arranging for a visit to the elephant Sanctuary in Pattaya but did that later in Phuket.
The weather was perfect during my stay.

The advantage is the beach and view.
The advantage is the beach and view. Yet it is far away from city center during traffic time (most of the day) and it takes a long time to get into the city. We stayed at the the Royal Cliff beach hotel, an expensive luxurious hotel yet it was very disappointing due to their unpleasant staff.

I do not recommend this place at all.
I do not recommend this place at all. The reception was really bad and they treat the booking.com guests in unwelcoming way. That really made me upset. Also the key collection process was a 1 out of 10 thing to me. Why would a guest do this after spending so much of money. Bad bad bad gesture by booking.com. I will think twice from now before booking a place from booking.com !

I enjoyed the entire experience with great local facilities. Local bars and restaurants. I tried several restaurants and found the staff and standard of food excellent. The price was also great value.
Food shopping was easy and transport on the baht bus is easy, regular and great value for money.
The beaches are clean and tidy and always have staff to provide drinks and food at great prices
The list of things I loved about this property cannot be covered in this place. Everything... from the sea/beach view from my private balcony to the wonderful helpful staff that helped my aged parents reach the beach from the hotel to the wonderful dining experience at Maharani restaurant... was exceptional. There are four hotels in the Cliff hotel space and all of them provide an exceptional luxurious stay.

A cosy hotel in a quiet location, the rooms are spacious and equipped with all the amenities. There’s everything you need within walking distance and tuk-tuks can take you from Thappraya Rd to Jomtien or Central Pattaya and Beach Road if you move in the other direction 😇
Beside the roaches, YOU are committing a crime by staying for less than a month and the building has it printed in four languages to let you know that you might go to jail if you stay in a condo for less than a month Thailand by law and pay fine please google it its true
I stay in this hotel every year and it’s always simply amazing, modern, clean, everything looks new , beautiful swimming pool and delicious buffet breakfast. Highly recommend!
