I have lived in Thailand for four years and so travel often, having stayed in many hotels on many islands. Cape Kudu by far outshines them all. This place is unbelievable. On arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel extremely special as we were shown around the resort and taken to our room. Throughout our stay, there were many wonderful things to note - the rooms are simply beautiful, the seaview is absolutely incredible and the resort is perfectly maintained. My partner and I woke up for sunrise each morning and it was incredible. The staff - wow!! It is very rare that you encounter such accommodating staff and Cape Kudu seem to have them all! I’d like to say a special thank you to one member of staff - I didn’t catch her name, but she spoke 5 languages and was originally from Switzerland - who made us feel incredibly special, remembered our names, caught up with us each day and did her utmost to make our stay memorable. A true credit to Cape Kudu.
I went to Cape Kudu to celebrate my 30th birthday and was met with a complimentary cake in the room and offered a complimentary boat tour. Thank you!! The spa is absolutely sublime, so calming and the spa therapist was incredible.
We simply could not speak more highly of Cape Kudu and I cannot wait to be back next year. Book this hotel!

The resort is perfect for relaxing, because it's so nice and calm (depending on the guests tho - when we left a big group with many kids arrived so it was more noisy but i guess that can be the case anywhere). The pool area is very nice, they even have a steam sauna and provide towels. The rooms are super spacious and modern with very nice furniture and get cleaned everyday, including fresh towels, water bottles, coffee, tea etc. The breakfast is a small buffet, we would have liked having more choice, but its okay!
Sunrise House is located right on the beach in Ko Yao Noi, 21 km from James Bond Island. The property features barbecue facilities, as well as a garden.
Located on Koh Yao Noi, Laguna Villas Boutique Hotel is conveniently located only 20 metres from the beautiful Pa Sai Beach.

Some of the most delicious eggs!
Laguna organised the ferry and transport to and from the airport/accommodation. Very simple and seem less. The pool was massive and often were the only ones using it.
Every staff member was so helpful and amazing. Nancy and her team are exceptional and truly made our holiday. The villa was super spacious and had a kitchenette with microwave and coffee making facilities. We had loungers everywhere.
The accommodation also has a restaurant with some of the best food. There are other food/massage options nearby as well as mini mart but also the accommodation can organise anything you need. They arranged a private fishing trip which was fantastic. We look forward to coming back to stay again

The island is very easy to get to.
Very serene and calm and a relaxing holiday escape. The island has everything you need
We mostly stayed near our accommodation but you can rent bikes/scooters/sidecars from almost anywhere. There is a local taxi service that can take you around the place also.
Bring cash. Th island has limited ATMs and most places only accept cash.

This is a lovely little island with a full range of accommodation choices and loads of wildlife to see. The bathing is difficult only because at low tide it is muddy and rocky on most beaches. Just pick high tide to swim. Lovely people. Cycling is a very good way to get round.

Very calm, peaceful and relaxing!
Very calm, peaceful and relaxing! If you want to get away from society, noise, civilization and tourists, this is your place! Beaches are not the best but they are clean and empty. The most exciting thing to do in this Island is kayaking to Nok Island (30min) and once you arrive hike the trial to the top for the amazing view! One of the best we had in our whole trip in Thailand. Also, renting a scooter and discovering the island by motorbike, stopping in each beach. So safe and relaxed. I recommend to stop by Stella's restaurant for eating o for a smoothie, super home made food and good price and views by the beach. For sunset, either Sunset bar or Hiddenout beach. Perfect place for getting away from noise but not if you want to party and meet people.

The island overall is not very built up and seems a bit rural when driving through. However there are very nice restaurants, cafes and bars to go to. We rented a scooter and drove almost around the entire island which was a very cool experience.
We were slightly dissapointed though with the beaches which we were partly to blame for as we did not research before. The tide was far out for most of the day so we didn't get a chance to swim in the sea. The beaches are all very rocky as well so even when the tide comes in I'm not sure if we could've swum.

This is a quiet and undeveloped island - so if that is what you are after it is great. I enjoyed getting on a bike and exploring the different parts of the island: remote beaches, local villages, paddy fields, plants, trees and wildlife. There are a few hills that you need to tackle but this was part of the healthy enjoyment of the island. At high tide I walked over to the small island in Tha Khao beach and swam in the sea, lay on the beach and watched the Brahminy kites - most days I was the only person there. There are some other remote beaches on the North East coast that you can hike/bike/scooter to. The best lunch spot was Chaba Cafe which has a shabby chic vibe, really good local food and serves a good macchiato. I had a few dinners at the Sook restaurant at the Suntisook resort which again had some really tasty Thai food.
I found that you need cash everywhere on the island so you need to plan to bring enough THB. There are a lot of ATMs but they either run out of cash, are out of service and on top of that charge a lot to do FX i.e. flat fee + 5%.

The nature was propably the best also it was very quiet there. The resort was very clean and the pools in the apartments were the best.
The only problem was the food. The kitchen need’s
a restart. If Gordon Ramsay would come there i think the kitchen would be a lot better and he would help make it better.
Great stay at Anattaya! Nina contacted us to arrange the pick up at the pier before we arrive, everything went smoothly. Large room in the back of the property, so no street noise. Room was clean, drinkable water provided, comfortable beds and the room can be cleaned everyday. Staff is really kind and caring, Nina is responsive and helped us book speedboat tickets and day trip in the islands. We rented a scooter directly at the hotel which is very convenient. 7eleven within 30 seconds walking distance, nice little restaurants nearby.
OMG, what is not to love about this hidden gem on a fairly remote Island! To the view from the ride over, from the beach, from the room. This plane was like stepping into a brochure ad for Paradise. Clean facilities, amazing staff, great food and drinks. Hammocks, beach chairs, poolside chairs, pool waterfall. I utilized the Spa services and was very happy with my experience. They had a bonfire evening with hors d'oeuvres and cocktails. Your first one was free! I would give 20 star rating if I could.
We loved everything in this bungalow :
- Good location
- Comfortable and spacious bungalow
- The owner (Cha) is a lovely person and speaks well English. It was really nice speaking with her. She gave us a lot of information about what to do on the island (activities, restaurants...).
She also rented us a scooter (the best we ever had in Thailand!)
So, we would definitely recommend this place and if we come back to Ko Yao Noi, for sure we will come back there !
Kop khun kha 🙏
Paradise is a beautiful, peaceful, tropical retreat. Because of its secluded and relatively inaccessible location it is a tribute to the hotel’s management and mostly locally-recruited staff to maintain the level of supply and service that they do. The facilities and activities are better suited to adults looking to “chill”. Special thanks to the delightful Ta, the in-house thoughtful and accomplished Yoga instructor for his patient and sympathetic coaching!
Tabeak exceeded our expectations! The huts are brilliant with everything that you will need & a beautiful view. The fan is really powerful, so there is actually no need for air con. The breakfast which is included is absolutely delicious and the owners are so welcoming, kind & give you all the help & information that you need. The location itself Ko Yao Noi was one of our favourite places we visited in Thailand, 100% recommend Tabeak and this island.
A very large, well built wooden style bungalow. Fridge, teapot with coffee and tea supplies. A nice porch with table, chairs, hammock. The mattress was soft and the bedding was good hotel caliper. …. And, they delivered a breakfast each morning ! - simple, but when someone brings me breakfast, it is fantastic.
A small property, maybe 4 (?) bungalows, so is quiet and private. Not close to anything, so motorbike is essential. I stayed 3 nights.
Great stay in Ko Yao Noi. The staff was so kind and helpful, they made the whole experience on the island even better
The bungalows are roomy and comfortable, the shower/bathroom was big and clean, although basic. The unobstructed view of the bay and the sunrise was a showstopper! You can spot squirrels, hornbills, bats and more from the little terrace as well as from the restaurant terrace. Cannot recommend enough!
Beautifully designed and equipped mini villas in a stunning location, with a fantastic on site restaurant made sure our stay was incredibly relaxing. No request was too much to ask, instead it was arranged in a heartbeat. If only all hotels could be this effortlessly efficient, warm and welcoming. All the best bits of a luxury resort but personable because it’s run personally and not part of a chain.
Very nice hotel, superbly located facing a heavenly bay.
Very welcoming and caring staff. The service and the equipment are of high quality.
The villa with private pool is very well decorated and offers a lot of privacy.
The breakfast is excellent and varied.
To advise for a paranthesis of luxury and voluptuousness on an island which really deserves to be discovered.
This hotel was all around perfect. It is in a quiet and relaxing part of the island, but everything you need is nearby. The room was big, clean and the bed was super comfy. The pool was relaxing and had a perfect view of the beachfront and nearby islands. The staff was exceptionally helpful and caring. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We can't wait to return.
Property was clean and comfortable. Best sleep I’ve had so far on my solo trip in Thailand (2 weeks in)
Preeyah was super accommodating, she lended me a scooter before I had the cash to pay for it. She made breakfast in the morning. She refunded me the extra night I didn’t stay (I wasn’t expecting this and was insistent she kept it). She called me a taxi when I left.
We spent of nights at holiday resort and our stay was perfect .Very clean.
Holiday Resort are the place to stay when you are in koh yao noi and I would definitely return again
And kung was the perfect host.she was very helpful .
and they a smile face all time . would like to compliment your hotel on the excellent service I received last week
The room was exceptional as was the hospitality of the senior staff. The massages were some of the best we have ever experienced (thanks to Khun Bee and Khun Nam). Chef Dawa is a magician who crafted the most unique and delectable five course wellness meal for us. In all, Six Senses offers you an experience not just a resort.
We came for 3 days and ended up staying 10.
Wonderful island, great location, very nice bungalow.
The staff is very helpful, offering nice tips to have the best time you can have on your island.
You can rent scooter, boat trips, anything you could need right from the Bungalow.
Location was beautiful, the bungalows are very nice and right on the beach, it's so nice to walk from the room porch to the beach, everything was beautiful, great value for money. It's simple but also doesn't feel cheap, I highly recommend
The whole experience was fantastic and I would recommend Jaiyen to anyone traveling to this part of Thailand. A remote location was exactly what we needed after many months working in Thailand.
Great location right on the beach with sunrise. Easy walking to a little local town with restaurants and a couple of shops. Clean and comfortable accommodation, sweet staff.
Incredible place - spectacular views, such a relaxed vibe with a lovely owner. Rent the scooters and explore the island. See the sunrise from your hillside paradise.
