The location is amazing! Nice quiet beach with clean white sand, very comfortable. There is a shadow, restaurants and toiles on the beach. The sea is quiet, no waves. The water is clear and transparent . Good for swimming. Lovely atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. During the happy hour in the bar all the cocktails cost 100 baht. Transportation to the beach is complicated enough to avoid crowds of tourists . But if you need you get in and out very easy with the taxi of the resort. Nice trekking nearby with great views. The bungalow is cozy, with the small terrace. The price is very good, especially for Pangan. Will definitely come back!

I'm not sure why people left bad reviews for this place. I loved my stay here. There is not much to "do" in the area but you have to know this coming to Bottle Beach. This is a place to enjoy beautiful nature, go on a hike to the viewpoint, read a book, swim, chill. It's not a party place at all. It's a beautiful place to relax and enjoy. Smile offered me a nice hut, classic SE Asian style. Simple, but had a fan and a mosquito net and that's all I really need. The bed was comfortable. It was small but all I needed as a solo traveler. The people working here are honest, hard working people. The food at the restaurant was really good! I recommend their green curry and the coconut shake. I would definitely come back here again and again. A little slice of paradise.

"Family" room on the beach had super nice beach view, strong aircon and WiFi, came with mat (appreciated) and broom and other essentials. We were there for about 20 hours starting about 4pm and didn't hear ANY music or other sounds, just lovely ocean waves (and occasional bark from many dogs that live on the beach). Contrast that with the northern Thong Nai Pan beach, which unfortunately has annoying loud live and recorded music. Soft white sand beach.

Beautiful sand and fun waves on the last few days of our stay. Busy with day trippers during the day but lovely and tranquil in the evening and early morning. Beautiful National Park with some nice walks.

Awesome location, limited activities if you have children, not recommended for a long stay. Beach front properties are highly recommended...very peaceful.
If you want to get away from it all, this is a good option. Limited options if you fall ill however, bear this in mind. No access to regular vehicles and forget taking a motor scooter. This is accessible to motocross bikes only with competent and experienced riders as it is steep and hazardous.

Please DONT use fins while snorkling, it is almost impossible not to damage the reef using them-unfortunately nobody tells you that, some guest house even sell it.
Dont try to go in the water on the east edge-you will hurt your legs and the reef.
Too many taxi boats for such a small bech. I counted 9 for 4 gesthouses and they are working almost non stop untill the afternoon, watch your kids sweaming near the boats with their propelow, looks to me like an accident waiting to happen.
I stayed in bottle beach for 9 amazing magical nights, enjoyed every second of it.
Honestly the most beautiful and peaceful location for a couple of nights. We stayed three nights and would stay longer. It was very basic accommodation (a bungalow with low light levels and holes in bathroom walls) but perfectly fine if this does not bother you. Amazing location for beach days or a hike up to the viewpoint. Restaurant food was amazing! And lots of vegan options - ask for the currys or rice with tofu and without egg.
Location is perfect, in case you look for serenity, with few people, and pretty much secluded from the outside world - then it is the place. The Sea is nice to swim. The staff at the restaurant are very nice. They also provide transfer from/to the hotel, since definitely not recommending to go there by your car/motorbike due to unpaved road last 15 mins. During rain that road can be quite dangerous.
This location is the best in Thailand. We have been here so so many times. The staff is the friendliest group ever. I do not understand the negative reviews at all. I do have high expectations and standards and these are met every time. Staff is very helpful.
You get a good bungalow at a good price and get the possibility to wake up with the sunrise and the sound of the ocean.
Amazing secluded beach only accessible by 4wd, the resort will take you up and down. Can park scooter at the top. Staff amazing, big shout out to Baku. Restaurant is very good, didnt even try the other places to eat. Try the Burmese peanut salad!!

The view was just amazing it was just right infront of the beach! the toilet/ shower area was big and there was both shower area and bath tub.
There are restaurants from the other hotels exactly nearby and they were all really delicious.

Perfect location. Right on one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been on. I went in off season so there no more than a handful of people there. So chilled and relaxed I extended my stay. I will be back next year I’m sure if I’m going through Thailand again.
The beach is a little jewel, especially early morning and evening when it is very quiet. No more day trippers and very hard to reach! Lovely walks from there

Most charming bungalow right on the beach. The staff from the restaurant where do sweet and helpful, arranged for me to go to Tongsala when I was leaving. One of the last untouched beaches on Koh Phangan
the guys are friendly but there is too much rubbish (not at the beach, in the hotel). nothing to feel comfy at all. bottle beach not so nice like everyone says. much better beaches around.
Bottle beach! It is really beautiful and calm. Our bungalow was right by the beach. We stayed only 2 nights in Phangan for FMP, I wish I could stay longer in this beach.
