The host and his family were very accommodating and nice. They helped me call an Uber and let me leave my luggage after I checked out. The room is brand new and has everything you need and the AC is very strong. If you are in el Tunco definitely consider this!

My friend and I had a great stay at Casa Cuscatlan. Nancy is a very attentive host, who was always there to help us from the beginning until the end. She helped us ordering food, guiding us to the nearest beaches and restaurants, and organizing transportation. The garden has a beautiful view of the valley. It's a very quiet, safe and walkable neighborhood.

not a bad little place - it's really just 3 private rooms with a small kitchen to the side. Not a hostel in the sense of bunks or meeting a lot of people. The air conditioning was really good. The washroom was cramped with the toilet being very close to the wall but to be honest, given the price and location - it was a decent deal. El tunco is so overpriced and touristy. You are robbed for what you get normally, but this place was decent. I would come back if I was visiting the beach
