The hotel was right on the beach, had a small but very clean and beautiful infinity pool. Great food at the restaurant with many healthy and vegetarian options as well. Decent prices for what was provided. Excellent vibe for couples, families and surfers. Friendly staff. Nice amenities such as complimentary coffee (decent quality) all morning long. Optional coffee bar with specialty coffee selections. Potable water refills just by asking the bar tender to refill. The beach was better than expected. The photos appeared to show many rocks and waves reaching the edge of the cliff. However, there were steps leading down to the beach area and when the tides were low (most of the day), there was plenty of beach with fine sand and not many rocks at all. Great place to walk, exercise or play with your dog. Felt like the staff was really there to help you have a wonderful stay. Whenever I asked a question, they would offer to assist. I walked to the restaurant to ask for desert to go. The staff member suggested, "We can bring that to your room if you'd like". Very welcoming!

This was a really pleasant surprise, very nice and well kept facilities, you see staff doing maintenance constantly, pool and gardens. The location is not on the beach but it is a short walk to the promenade right on the beach with lots of nicely appointed restaurants and bars. Theres is something for all tastes. I have to complement the staff who up and down the line are helpful, courteous and willing to accomodate your needs. I thank chef Mario for the nice chat and restaurant recommendation. I regret that I do not remember the name of the staff member who offered his own personal cel phone to complete a work call that I had and due to a power outage we had no internet. Talk about above and beyond! The pool location is ideal, they have one for families and children, one for adults with a swim up bar. It is really nice and cannot ask for a better setup. They have a game room that is available for guests and I am sure kids can take advantage of that.
The breakfast selection is varied, about 10 different choices and the ones that I tried were all good. Friendly and accomodating wait staff. Congratulations to Boca Olas Resort on such a nice job with their staff.
The rooms are comfortable with ceiling fan and air conditioning, well set up bathroom with shower and separate toilet room. Complementary bottled water is provided daily.
