This hotel is located on the main street, Hlavna ulica, where many of the main sites are located, so your close to the sites and so many restaurants and shops. The room was a little on the small size but just right for someone travelling alone and the furnishings were very nice, all around the hotel. The gentleman I dealt with at the front desk was ever so helpful and friendly and spoke English very well. There was a stocked mini fridge and prices were reasonable. Bathroom was of good size and spotless. If you walk down that main st, past the Cathedral, you'll come to a square where there is a memorial to Russian soldiers who died there in WW2. To the left is a very large 3 story mall. On the near side is a bus stop where many busses stop including #23 to the airport. At the airport, there is a nice little aviation museum for those interested. One word of warning about the restaurants in Kosice. I found they have some long wait times for a meal. One place told me it would be 1 1/2 hours to get a meal, so ask first. The breakfast at the hotel is good.It was great too that its price was included in the price of the room. Most I've been to, you have to pay extra.

Authentic eastern European experience. Always felt safe and easy to navigate on foot around Kosice. Thankfully no McDonalds, Burger King Starbucks, Seven Elevens etc in the Old Town.
Great Cafe culture. Communication around the city was a problem as English not spoken very much in this part of the world!

Košice has very nice city center with the St. Elizabeth's Cathedral, the biggest and probably the most beautiful church in Slovakia. Unfortunately, some of the sights are closed during the winter season, others don't have up-to-date opening hours on their web sites.

Kosice is a lovely place to slowly enjoy city life , bars , restaurants , especially during summer time where you have plenty of beer gardens. Good for both worlds beer lovers and wine lovers . More over its a perfect place to start explore eastern part of Slovakia , only one hour of drive or train away from Poprad and Tatra mountains , close to Hungarian tokaj region , Eger town and cave baths in Miskolc .

I have been to Romania for three years and I can briefly say as a good traveler that Kosice is more beautiful than Romanian top touristic cities such as Brasov,Sibiu and Cluj. It is full of history and there are also castles around the region.

The railway and bus stations can be reached on foot at any time. I had to go to the airport in the morning and it was very convenient. Tickets must be bought in the yellow machines for 0.90 euros. Bus number 23. Taxi drivers offer to take you for 10 euros. I didn't find the signage of the hotel, I went on a Google map. Then I received instructions in the mail on how to open the door. The room was large but obviously still in the process of being refurbished.
This hotel definitely made our day in Kosice. The rooms were beautiful, extremely clean, the bathroom was magical and the bed was very comfortable. The carpet was so soft that we even enjoyed sitting on it :) The restaurant is very beautiful with a great menu (both food ad drinks), so we ended up spending our entire evening in the cafe and didn't regret at all. Parking was also very convenient, right below the hotel, and the location couldn't be any better.
The location of the hotel is reflected in its name - when needed it can accommodate athletes coming to compete at the city's stadium. Everything is very basic. However, the only exception was the bed - hard and excellent, reminded me of hard beds once common in hotels in mainland China. Breakfast has not been served because of a weekend and too many vacant rooms, the reception said. Can not say anything on location as travelled by car.
I was extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel. It is located very close to the railway and bus stations, as well as to the centre of the city. The administrator was very friendly and provided all the necessary information. The room was very cozy, clean, and well-equiped. I ordered the breakfast at reception and enjoyed it the next morning. I can definitely recommend this place to stay at when you are in Kosice.
A sizeable two-room facility with your own proper bathroom, 7 minutes drive to the city centre of Kosice. The place was clean and the two-room room comes with its own fridge. Parking outside at 3 EUR per night/day, which is okay compared to the city centre prices. Safe, code/keytag entrance to the facilities. Supermarkets are just across the street, as well as bus lines and tram.
Every staff member from the front desk to the servers in the restaurant were exceptionally helpful and friendly and ALWAYS accommodating to any questions or requests we had. The food/drinks and location were perfect and made for an incredible stay while we were in Košice celebrating our wedding. We will happily return next time we are in town!
Very decent budget hotel. The room was not very big but comfortable, clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Good european breakfast. The hotel provides lunch and dinner with set menu. We did not have a chance to go out but they say that you can get to the city centre by the tram that passes buy.
Overall we were happy with our stay.
Nice new hotel, big & comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast with good coffee. Restaurant has a terrace, you can eat there too when weather is ok. Staff speaks English and wifi works ok. Some sheep, a goat and a friendly cat can be sometimes found outside for light entertainment:)
The hotel was modern with nicely decorated room and modern bathroom. It has free public parking nearby. The staff was helpful and changed our room to a quiet one. The breakfast was very good and there was a nice shopping mall across the street with many restaurants for dinner.
Hotel is comfortable, nice clean room and very appropriate bathroom. Hotel situated in a side street not far from the Kosice main railway station. Access to the Hotel only by key card, which is a bit uncomfortoble when arriving for the first time.
We purposely chose to return to Boutique Penzion Slovakia & Slovakia Residence because their service was so outstanding last time. They did it again! The staff went above and beyond expectations to help us when we were having difficulty.
The staff was more than perfect to communicate with, the breakfast at the hotel was fresh and good.

The location is in kosice is great. Litterally one street off the main city center, there's also a great caffè right in front of the apartment and very good restaurants right on the same street.
Great location in the old town. Kosice Old Town are worth visiting for their architecture and restaurants. Pension Grand was easy to find and had an access to a free car park.
Overall experience was very good we liked a stay at the hotel. Location at the city center is very advantageous, esp. for marathoners who attend the Košice Marathon.
