The building has a bit of an old-world feel about it, but is comfortable and clean. The room we had was very large with a high ceiling. It had a small entrance area from which the bathroom lead, a couch and chairs and a large comfortable bed. The AC was quiet and worked well. We were in the busy street with the tram tracks but you hear no traffic noise- the double windows offer excellent sound proofing. A very good breakfast is provided.

Old town Kosice is a beautiful place. Really compact with so much to see and do within easy walking distance. History, architecture, museums, art, culture, diversity, cafes, bars and restauarnts. It has it all.
La Hacienda Mexican restaurant and Raňajkáreň Rozprávka breakfast restaurants were 2 of our favourites. Hafnergasse is defifintely somewhere we wouldn't recommend or go again. The Archaeological Museum and Mikluš prison were interesting museums.

My third visit and I have enjoyed each one and always found something new even though the old town is quite compact.
I personally prefer it to Bratislava where I now live. Food is better even though less expensive. Drinks are generally less expensive.
More relaxed vibe and nowhere near as touristy as Bratislava.

Authentic eastern European experience. Always felt safe and easy to navigate on foot around Kosice. Thankfully no McDonalds, Burger King Starbucks, Seven Elevens etc in the Old Town.
Great Cafe culture. Communication around the city was a problem as English not spoken very much in this part of the world!

Košice has very nice city center with the St. Elizabeth's Cathedral, the biggest and probably the most beautiful church in Slovakia. Unfortunately, some of the sights are closed during the winter season, others don't have up-to-date opening hours on their web sites.
We are a family of five and spent 2 days in Košice on our Slovakia trip. The apartment was amazing, spacious, and stylish. The location was great, right on the edge of the old town. The present from the hosts - a black currant wine bottle was a nice gesture. Great place to stay when visiting Košice.
Great hotel situated close to the centre of Kosice. The room was big enough, bathroom spacious and really clean and the staff were helpful. The hotel is part of a restaurant where you can get a residents’ discount. Breakfast was good too.
The position right in the pedestrian center of Kosice. Staff very kind and helpful both at reception and lobby bar. Finally a Hotel with a nice smoking lounge!
