The overall quality of the hotel and the room is fine. I especially like the design. The food is also fine and delicious. The hot tub is life-saving at the end of the day.

The staff exceeded all our expectations, they were always there if we needed any help and were very kind and wonderful. The dinner and the breakfast were exceptional, it was delightful and delicious. Our room was beautiful with the sights of the Tatras. The place itself is something magical, we were above the clouds it's really worth the price.

beautiful, amazing views, nice lifts and long trails, but not for the begginers, even blue trails have spots were they are too difficult for the begginers, and you have no way of knowing until you get there.

Demanovska Dolina is a verly long village, so it depends when you are going and what you want to do. If you want to ski all day, I would recommend to find accommodation directly on the slope / under the lift, as otherwise you will have to drive with your car or with a ski bus for 20 - 30 min and you might not even fit in the bus which tends to be full. However, if your aim is not solely skiing, you might want to stay in the village, as the place for walking might be better there than on the slope. The ski area is smaller than in the usual Alpine resorts, but big enough for an intermediate skier. The prices (for the ski-pass, food and drinks) are high for the value you're getting.

Demänovská Dolina is a stunning place that I recently visited. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and offers a multitude of opportunities for hiking and exploration. One of the highlights of my stay was the option to take cable cars that led me to the ridges of the hills. From there, I could embark on beautiful hiking trails with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. It was an amazing experience to venture along these adventurous paths. Demänovská Dolina also provides a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. During my walks, I enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings and the sense of tranquility that prevailed. If you're looking for a place where you can truly unwind and discover the wonders of nature, Demänovská Dolina is the right choice. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking magnificent hiking trails and unforgettable experiences.

New ski area for mediate level skiers good.
New ski area for mediate level skiers good. Well prepared slopes. Apres ski not great and no supermarket in the area only 12 km drive away. Beautiful nature and great views. Expensive for Slowakia standards (ski passess 65 euro/day, ski rental 40 Euro/day, ski lession 40 euro/per person/per hour). We will be returning with our expectations adjusted.

Skiing was very nice in these beautiful mountains but slopes are very tricky for beginners or mid-level skiers. There is not any services (restaurants, shops, kiosks etc.) outside of hotels so you are forced to have the package with accommodation and foods.

Nice area. Decent snowboarding slopes.
Nice area. Decent snowboarding slopes. The ski rental shop (the one right next to Happy End bar at the entry to the ski area) was a bit of a con billing us nearly double the rates they publish online and letting us know that only at the end of the trip - claiming the published rates are only relevant if you book online and not at the shop. I’d avoid them at all costs.
The hotel is really clean and cozy, has a little bit of old furniture, but what matters most was the cleaning (we appreciate this more). We even had a balcony with slopes view and the room was really heated.
The breakfast and dinner had a variety of sorts of stuff and the food was delicious.
The SPA area is so incredible, it is clean and cozy as well and has warm temperatures after a long day on your skis.
Really helpful the heated locker for the skis to dry overnight. The slopes were really near the hotel.
Easy wifi (no password needed), nice space (though much more comfortable for 4 than 6), hot tub, good mattresses (but terrible pillows). Fairly easy to get to the slopes (about 200m. walking). Convenient ski room. Hotel Liptov (close by) is available for meals (very pleasantly surprised with the quality and pricing!) and even some indoor activities (e.g. billiards, foosball, etc.) Good communication. Each chalet only has about 6 apartments so if you are lucky, it may be quite quiet.
We stayed in a tree house and it was an exceptional experience. The house was very modern, convenient and cosy with fantastic views. Size is perfect for a 2+2 family. And it's 50 meters from a ski slope. Perfect location. The staff was very friendly. The hotel offers SPA including sauna and tubes with hot and cold water outside, has a game room for kids, serves complimentary hot wine in the afternoon etc.
The accomodations were excellent. Super nice property with a very well stocked kitchen. The layout is very clever and allows for lots of storage and organizing your belongings. Ski locker room is amazing. Big windows and doors allowed for a lot of light and blackout shades allowed for sleeping in a bit as well.
We loved the spa and sauna area next to the river; it was truly unique.
The food at the restaurant was also exceptional (both a la carte and breakfast).
The staff was really friendly.
The location next to the river was nice.
We liked that this hotel was adult friendly.
Lounge decor is beautiful.
Great location, next to the ski lift Lucky. Beautiful mountains view and peak Chopok. Own property car park with no additional costs. Nice and tidy property. Apartament convenient for two couples or family with the kids. Two independent bedrooms with spacious living room and the kitchen annexe.
Location and cost where what I was looking for. Due to low cost had low expectations. Ski hire was really good value. Loved the retro decor. Didn't use the shoe-horn in the room but knew it was there if needed. Skiing was great. Will be back to resort. Might spend a little more on hotel though.
Lovely hotel. Wood clad interior. Free outdoor jacuzzi, plus a range of sauna/steam rooms. Ski room with lockers. Genuine ski in/ski out - even in late season. Very friendly staff. Buffet was top quality with great freshly made cakes. Couldnt ask for better!
Everything was perfect! Vladimir is an amazing host, the place is very cozy and clean. The ski lift is 1 minute away. We traveled as 2 couples, and the place is perfectly suited for such a group. We will definitely come back :)
Excellentl locations, possibility to ski to door. The host was really friendly, good english knowledge. Although the apartman was quite small, it was very okay for a couple of nights stay. I would book it again, for sure.
Great location right by the slope with most friendly and helpful host ever! Apartment has everything (and more) you could possibly need on a skiing/snowboarding trip. Highly recommended. We will definitely come back!
Big, clean, modern and (a bit) impersonal hotel, geared towards skiers (in winter) and families with a lot of children (in summer). Superb buffer style breakfast. Good restaurant at a reasonable price.
We stayed for a ski holiday with a group of friends. The ski bus stop is very close. The owner was friendly. The house has everything you need: a ski storage room, fully equiped kitchen, a fireplace.
There are possibility to order good breakfast. Location is close to ski route. We have little snow. I think it is possible to ski to the cottage's door if there are much snow
A hotel right on the ski slope with perfect location, amazing value for the cost and great cleanliness and comfort. The best place for a longweekend ski trip.
