The apartment was very beautiful in a peaceful location not so far from the city center. The owner is very friendly and he also has a good restaurant with superb food only 5min walk from the apartment.

Great hiking trails but you really need a car to get around. We were on foot which limited what we could do. We walked over 12 km daily and did very little. Most of the places to visit were out of reach.

We had dinner at Restaurant Pri Hrastu and launch at Ošterija Žogica - I can recommend both places l. There are also many small cafes and bakeries around the town.
The town is just on the border with Italy and very popular for its casinos.

Nova Gorica is a small city but has everything a traveler needs. Getting around is easy as most things are within walking distance and the city buses are free.
Two good places to eat are Fabrika, a bar and restaurant in the pedestrian center with great burgers and Gurmand, an informal place with both Slovene and Italian food.
Fans of beer should visit O’Haras with its hundreds of beers.
There are also a number of casinos for those who like gambling.

The italian Gorizia Is the interesting side of the city.
The italian Gorizia Is the interesting side of the city. You cannot realize the Slovenian Italian border , so It was interesting. The culture and historical things are in Gorizia (Italy) but the verrà , pubs are much more Better in Gorica (Slovenia)
Everything was excellent!! Communication was quick and check in and check out were simple and smooth. Room was great! Breakfast was great! Staff were all amazing! Easy walk into Gorizia, Italy from the hotel. Also, close to public transportation as well. And, do yourself a favor and EAT AT THEIR RESTAURANT. The food was so delicious, especially the beefsteak! Would definitely stay there again when visiting this area.
The house is close to Nova Gorica and the border with Italy. There is a beautiful garden and a lovely terrace where you can have something to drink. The place is very nice and cleaned but the special thing is the host Alecsandra. She is very helpful, kind and she know how to put at ease their guests. Great breakfast with a lot of things to choose.
Large room, clean with a refrigerator/mini-bar and fruit tray. Parking was convenient and free. Very nice breakfast. I'm lukewarm on Nova Gorica but we were there for a Beer & Burger fest was which was close by and a very nice event. (And if you like craft beer, Reservoir Dogs is a must visit.)
I stayed overnight on my way to Italy. My impressions:
Renovated bathroom, very clean sheets, nice size bad.
Location is good, it is in a very small town but the hotel is in the center. Room vas quiet and good for sleeping.
I would recomend my friends to stay in this hotel.
The service of both the hotel and restaurant was phenomenal. Nicest service I can remember receiving! Highly recommend making reservations for the boutiques restaurant, where the same family presents beautiful dishes (loved the risotto)!
Clean, comfortable, decent-sized room. Nice to have a refrigerator. Good price and nice breakfast. Strong wifi. Excellent restaurant. Though I am not really "into" casinos, the casino part of the hotel was not overbearing.
The apartment was very clean, and well equiped the location close to center and casino also close to restaurants shops and so on...
The balcony was great and with sunset and sunrise the view over Gorica is beautifull.
The room was perfectly clean and prepared for our arrival. The views were beautiful, the beds comfortable and it was very quiet. The perfect place for us while visiting family in Nova Gorica!
