I loved the location, mini fridge in the room, the staff were super nice and helpful, it was clean and there was a gated private parking place for my car behind the hotel. Also, rooms (including the bathroom) were really spacious and not cramped at all.

The lake area is absolutely stunning, especially on a sunny day. I would recommend walking around half of the lake, opposite the side with the road to Ukanc, and taking the boat back to Ribcev Laz. A lot of the car parks are limited to 2 hours, so taking a bus to the lake area is the best option if you want to spend at least half a day there.

Bohinj is one of the nicest places in Slovenia, less touristic than lake Bled. We did beautiful hiking trails in the mountains. Bohinj lake is marvelous, unfortunatelly, we could stay only 3 nights in this beautiful place

Slovenia is a very clean, efficient and beautiful country that offers opportunities for all aspects of life, particularly outdoor activities. Bohinj is a little quieter that Lake Bled which has a more tourist focus, although beautiful in itself.

Bohinj is beautiful, much nicer than Bled and not so many people. There are lots of spots around the lake where you can relax, sunbathe or swim. We walked around the lake , it took 3 hours. At the far end is a camp site, they have a little snack bar you can use and toilets.
You can also visit Savica waterfall, it is amazing. Luckily it had rained the day we visited, so there was lots of water going through.
Try restaurant Kramer on the lake side, it does great food.

Absolutely spectacular place! The water is cold and crystal clear, no trash anywhere, the locals are nice, it's a magical place to be. At summer you might need swimming shoes at some places because of the rocks.

Incredible views with lots of possibilities for active holidays - mountain hikes with wide range of difficulties, biking, water sports or simply relaxing swim in pure lake... Several decent places to eat & drink. Lots of families with children, so must be children friendly as well :)
Lidija was very friendly and helpful and gave us loads of local information. The apartment we had was very spacious and had absolutely everything we needed. We had 9 nights in the apartment. It is only about a 15 min drive from beautiful Lake Bohinj and has 2 supermarkets, a pharmacy, bars and restaurants only a 5 min walk away. There are endless paths for walking at all levels. We did 4 mountain days and lower level walks by the lakes and waterfalls. We can't wait to go back to beautiful Slovenia :)
Great experience! This house is wonderful: clean, warm, fragrant, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need (there is even a hot tub)! The outdoor garden is also large and comfortable, equipped with a gazebo and barbecue.
Furthermore Simona and Tine are extremely kind and helpful, always ready to accomodate any request and to provide the best advice. If Slovenia will remain in your heart at the end of the holiday, it will also be thanks to these two special people!
We had booked half board and the hotel was very accommodating to my gluten free needs. The food for both meals were excellent.
The location of this quiet hotel is perfect for exploring Lake Bohinj either on foot or by car.
The whole property was spotlessly clean and the service provided was excellent by all staff members.

Such a magical setting surrounded by mountains, trails, rivers and lakes. The host is just fantastic so knowledgeable and informative about Slovenia and the Bohinj area. She goes out of her way to be accommodating and takes care with plenty small touches around the house to appreciate and enjoy. The welcoming schnapps was also a real winner :)
