Everything was perfect. A great place to stay for a weekend getaway. The room was clean, there is lots of space on the balcony/terrace too. Very peaceful. Staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good, the food at the hotel restaurant was also really good and reasonably priced. The lake is nearby, there are also free buses that can take you to Savica waterfall. Definitely coming back!

The breakfast could be improved. Eggs were over cooked. Bacon needed to cook more. Bread could be fresher. Wasn’t fresh orange juice. Better selection of fruit. The location is one of the best things about the place. The hotel needs a makeover.

Bohinj has stunning views of the surrounding mountains which are easily accessible via the gondola. The lake itself is crystal clear and great for swimming and water sports. The town is small but with a range of restaurants and a shop. It has all the facilities you need but without the throng of tourists that Lake Bled is constantly surrounded by.

Lake Bled is lovely but Lake Bohinj is perfect if you want a purer experience. The hike around the lake is about 12.5 km. There are lots of outdoor sports available and gorgeous views. We went up the cable car to Mount Vogel and hiked up to the waterfall at Savica. It is all truly gorgeous and peaceful.

You should take a trip to the waterfall Savica; take a 2 hour walk around the lake; the landscape itself is wonderful. You can taste delicious homemade food like different kinds of cottage cheese, and typical Slovene casserole dishes.
The best way to get around lake is to go on foot or to rent a bike.

The nature is beautiful, it doesn't mind if it's raining, snowy or sunny, you always can enjoy peaceful walk along the lake or through the forest. Everyone should visit Bohinj at least once in their lifetime!

This lake means inner peace, chill and happiness to me. Perfect for a calm long weekend, but has a lot of program opportunities as well (hiking, canoeing, visiting waterfalls and gorges in the neighborhood, etc.).
This hotel was a big surprise. It's right next to lake Bohinj, it's exceptionally well designed with warm materials in every space and well thought out details. The room was clean and comfortable (we didn't have the view of the lake though). The breakfast was excellent, with lots of choice and locally sourced food, as was the view from the restaurant. We stayed only one night, so didn't get to experience the wellness offers, but would like to and probably will come back to Hotel Bohinj.
Cute apartment is in the best location in Bohinj.. literally right next door to St John the Baptist church and the lake!! Supermarket and TI are across the street.
Loved sitting outside at our own table with beautiful flowers and the river in backyard. So peaceful!!

Breakfast was great at this hotel. There was lots of variety and we got the option to have baked eggs every day. cooked eggs were also available. There were also little sweet things such as pastries, and even vegan alternatives. The room was on the smaller side, and ours didn't have a balcony, but I saw some rooms that had a balcony available. The Bohinj Lake was in close walking distance. There were several restaurants nearby.
I honestly never felt this good in a hotel. It's absolutely beautiful, they thought of everything. Staff is amazing, food is wonderful, whatever meal you choose, rooms are perfect, clean, with a great big terrace, the Bohinj lake is at a walking distance, maybe 10 minutes, nature is to die for, seriously.
Also, our dog was so welcomed, it made our stay much more pleasant!

Nice view on Lake Bohinj from the restaurant in the morning.
Lovely hotel, finishing and amenities beautiful, very cosey and staff very warm and attentive. We received a lovely welcome and complimentary coffees and biscuits whilst we checked in and got lovely advice for activities and places to eat whilst there. Best hotel we’ve stayed at in our two week holiday in Slovenia, will absolutely return!

The chalet is located in a picturesque valley, in one of the most beautiful parts of Slovenia (Triglav National Park). It is very near the trails and lakes. We loved how the owner paid attention to every detail and created a true place of haven for vacation and relaxation. We look forward to visiting again soon.
Beautiful house and yard about a 5 minute walk from Lake Bohinj. Could easily accommodate a family or group of friends. Near to a lot of the natural attractions in the the area. Foksner, a restaurant in the neighborhood, serves one of the best hamburgers I've ever eaten
The house was beautiful and charming and our room was very clean and comfortable. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful giving us tips on local restaurants and hiking. Has a great location, just a 10 minute walk to Lake Bohinj but far enough away to avoid the bustle.
I liked the location of the house. It's in the mountain, surroundings of beautiful nature. House is big and clean and it's not far in Lake Bled. We stayed only for one day because that was the planned of our trip in Slovenia. We will surely back to this place.
The room was great value. The room was very cheap and better than the other 1-star hotel I've stayed at on my trip. The location was good - quiet area an easy walk to the lake and to good restaurants. There was parking. Staff was friendly and helpful.
