We had a very nice experience staying at the house. The hosts are very nice and friendly, the ambiance in the dining room is very nice, artistic. The terrace with the pool in the middle of a vineyard is really special. Good breakfast, comfortable room with a balcony.

Wow! New, beautiful, clean rooms that exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious and modern. The breakfast was bountiful with fruit, pastries, cereal and even made to order eggs. Our host, Jakob was wonderful and warm. He provided us with high quality hospitality. It’s only been open a few months so book it before others do. I highly recommend it!
Small wine area called Brda in Slovenia. Landscape is mindblowing...to compare with the Toscane area in Italy. Very friendly people and wine and food is excellent for a very reasonable price. Good for a romantic long weekend.

The area around Dobrovo is very cool, it offers so much good food, special wines and views. Everything is located very close to each other and you never know if you are in italy or slowenie. Here you really feel that boarders doesn't matter at all.

Dobrovo is just one nice castle in the region. Otherwise all the region is amazing (small Slovenian Toscany).
It is worth to travel around, Šmartno is amazing village, than Vipolže very nice vila with good restaurand. Also a good restaurand is Klinec in Medana.
Fantastic view over the beautiful Slovenian countryside just over the border from Italy. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, very hospitable family living downstairs. There are babies in the house, which sometimes cause noises, but we were also travelling with our baby, who makes his own noises, so we have absolutely no reason to complain. Bear in mind there are normal early morning noises in the countryside: cocks crowing, church bells, diesel engines...
5 out of 5 across the board. Amazing hotel!! Spacious and comfortable rooms (excellent bed, shower and views from balcony). The food at breakfast each day we terrific and dinner was superb (always with great views). The staff and owner were exceptionally welcoming and kind with great service. We will certainly be recommending this to friends/ family and return ourselves someday!
The most beautiful setting to take in Slovenia. Do yourself a favor and walk around on the streets outside the hotel to take in all the views. Very friendly staff. Outstanding restaurant (one of the best meals we had) and the server suggested excellent wines and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Well appointed rooms and spacious bathroom.
The location and views from hotel were fabulous. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff was helpful to us in determining where to go for wine tasting and to find a covid test for our flight home. Sitting by the pool overlooking the beautiful wine region below was a wonderful way to end our 3 weeks in Europe.
The hotel is exceptionally charming and beautiful, the hosts are great and friendly, the place is quiet and comfortable. It is located in a small, quiet village, within walking distance from other bigger villages, surrounded by vineyards. Great place for those who like to walk and cycle. I will certainly come again.

Location was beautiful, InSlovenian but close to Italy. Easy to get around. The pool area is nice for relaxing, the breakfast, especially the pancakes were exceptional..we are used to more space in an Airbnb, only suggestion would be to have a couple chairs and a small table on patio..
We arrived after dark by car and the host met us in Dobrovo to guide us to our apartment. She also made us a cold cut platter of meats, cheese and bread with wine and homemade sweets to help us due to our late arrival. Thank you Tanja!
Incredibly picturesque setting right on the Slovenia/Italy border. It's a great place for exploring the wine region. Food was really good and the morning/breakfast staff was super nice. The pool was a great place to relax during the day.
Beautiful boutique hotel set amongst wineries. Everything was first class. Lovely, large bedroom, beautiful bathroom, lovely swimming pool with winery views. Excellent restaurant. Make sure you visit Movia winery, booking advised.
We had a great stay at Dvor Vipolze, like always! Tasty, plentyfull choice off breakfast, nice stuff allways ready to help, clean room, beautifull view on the pool, can not ask more. Brda were so nice and warm in october.
An amazing place to try local food and wine. The rooms are quirky and cozy and the pool area is great. A good place to stay when trying out different wineries in this amazing area of Slovenia.
We stayed 2 nights and it was great. The owner was lovely and gave us an amazing wine tasting experience. It was close to smartno en dobrovo. Breakfast was great with al local products.
If this was a hotel, it could easily be 4 star hotel, maybe with some adjustments 5. It is absolutely new place, all very clean. Rooms have wonderful panoramic views to the wine yards.
