Everything as expected. Very nice facility, the host waited for us in front of the building. There is a dedicated parking slot , which is a big advantage for Belgrade. The apartment is located 3.5km from the old town, so consider using public transportation to go down. Thanks Ivana.

Honestly everything was to be admired. The location was exceptional, soundproofing amazingly done, the host was super kind and trusting, the internet exceeded speeds over 150MB/s - the download and stream of music was insanely fast! Huge Xiaomi TV with a movable arm extending it from the wall to your liking. Floor heating in the bathroom! Literally not a single complaint

This was our first hotel night in Serbia. We have arrived at night, but the google maps helped me to find the building easily. At first, the outlook was not so trust-inspiring, the building is really old, the plastering was missing from the outer walls. We reached our host through phone, and he showed up in a few minutes. He is a very kind guy and helped us in the entire time, from finding a parking place nearby, and even bought the maximum parking fare for our license number. If you are not familiar with the Serbian rules for parking like we were, this can be source of problems. The room itself is fully renovated, so our initial worried thoughts were faded away. The apartment is really spacious, equipped with all the necessities. We are a family of 5, and this place was big enough for our needs.
The apartment was clean, and located in a really good place, close to the downtown, restaurants. Once again we would like to say thanks for the owner for his hospitality, his advices were helpful and we couldn't even arrange to pay for parking without him. The price/value ratio is exceptionally good!

It's a quiet, and large neighbourhood on the edge of central Belgrade. I have lived there several times. It's not central Belgrade, but if you're staying close to a bus stop, you are very close to the centre.
Unlike some areas of Belgrade, Karaburma isn't pretty, it's quite barren and looks very much how you would expect a post Soviet country to look. It has old streets, old shops, general disrepair. But that's just aesthetic. I like Karaburma, it's quiet, peaceful, good food, good people, safe and pleasant.
There's loads of cafes and bars in Karaburma, they're just not as new, polished and obvious to find as the ones in the centre. What really matters anywhere you go is the people, and the Serbians are the best people I've met, so I am content no matter what neighbourhood I stay in.

There are reasonably priced good properties in this region.
There are reasonably priced good properties in this region. Good public transport connection, some shopping malls around, a lot of parking places.
Might be good for people traveling with their car, to stay away from the busy (and mostly pedestrian) center.
There is not much to see in Karaburma. You can walk uphill to Zvezdara observatory, there is good park and viewpoint
