Overall we had a great stay. The atmosphere was very relaxing and nice. The location is very clean and made for a perfect weekend out in nature. The owner was very nice, relaxed and understanding.
The kitchen has all the facilities you would need: microwave, fridge, a very nice coffee machine, cooker, glasses, plates, bowls, everything. So if you're looking to save some money by cooking or getting something from the store instead of going to the restaurant, you can definitely do so.
Awesome stay, 10/10 would return again.

Wonderful small town (population approximately 30,000) located in the Carpathian mountains. Many restaurants to choose from. No "mainline" hotels; however, many pensions with wonderfully quaint rooms and restaurants. Short drive to mountain areas with hiking and river activities.

Nice and quiet town. Helpful people. Nice and old houses with beautiful arhitecture. I recommend a lunch at Pardon Brewery - Restaurant. Visit also the Voina Chalet, the Namaiesti Monastery carved in stone and the Rucar-Bran Road.

Small town,but lots of facilities especially for families.A nice park with playground for kids,restaurants and cafeterias,(make sure you dont mis the one called Iepurasul/the rabit,opposite hotel Muscelul).
The hotel was well situated in the town, had great secure parking for the bikes and while the steps up to the hotel reception may be an issue for some ( there may well be a lift that we didn't notice ), it was fine.
