Who likes Indian food then will get a curry in the old town centre. The best Romanian cuisine to eat is at Ceasu' Ráu!

Excellent food, coffee, plazas, museums, transportation, (please add whatever you want after excellent and will be thru for sure). And then, is the Tampa with the Hollywood sign. Such a nice touch like a brand label you get to see enjoying the above.

We flew into Bucharest and got the bus to Braşov, which was a shuttle bus 8 seats, 3 of us on it, took just over 2 hours, quicker and much cheaper than the train. 100 lei each extra 20 to be dropped at the door of our hotel, company we used was direct aero port, we used them to take us back to Bucharest as well then got a bus into the city for 3 lei.
Brasov is really pretty with lots to see good for a couple of days, we had a trip booked to Brans castle and peles castle which got cancelled a couple of days before as peles castle is closed on a Monday, so the hotel kindly arranged a taxi to take us to Brans castle, he waited for us and took us back, brilliant service, we also did the bears in the wild tour from Brasov, we were lucky and saw two brown bears. There is 5g in Bravos internet connection was brilliant the whole time I was in Romania, Braşov definitely worth a visit.

Brasov is a nice town but it doesn't seem to be well maintained by the municipality. Historical buildings are left to self-destroy and there isn't much to see in the old city center. Otherwise, there are plenty of shops, restaurants and coffee places to sit, eat and drink. It's more convenient to walk around on foot than with a car. There are many car parking places around the old city center and all are paid. Parking fee is 3 RON for 1h, 24 RON for 24h, Mon-Sat from 8:00-20:00. The street parking is free on Sunday and National Holidays.
We were looking for a hotel outside Brasov but still close to all attractions. The pictures are exactly as it is!

We ate at the restaurant and the food was FANTASTIC! Tripe soup was so good that we came back the next night to enjoy it again!
The staff at the restaurant were lovely and welcoming. The night manager was helpful with planning the next phase of our trip. 5 min from the beginning of the 7 stairs track too.
Although it is now called Hotel HP Tower One, this hotel is also known as Ramada (in the outskirts of Brasov). It has an excellent location if you plan to come by car (free parking is also offered) as it is well connected by main roads. Difficult to reach if you plan to take public transportation. Very good value for money, excellent breakfast included, good toiletries and nice furniture.
The hotel is a gorgeous little gem hidden in the heart of old town brasov! Our apartment was huge, with a beautiful bathtub, a front room and enormous bedroom! We were given the option of our apartment or a new attic apartment.

The hotel is located in heart of Braşov, in an old historical house. Only three guest rooms in the hotel. Our room was very nice, spacious, with huge bathroom, high ceilings, antique furniture, and big and comfortable bed. Breakfast ordered by menu in the evening was delicious. We wish we could stay longer! Parking in front of the hotel was 5 euros per day.
Hotel has free, on-site private parking, which is a definite plus in Brasov. Hotel is at the edge of the historical center and at a few starting points of hikes through Tampa NP, yet very quiet at night. Staff is the friendliest ever. TVs have Netflix app. When visiting Brasov again, I will most likely book here again without looking for alternatives.
We chose Wood House for its charming wood/cabin theme popular across Romania. The location in old town Braşov was amazing in the midst of shops, restaurants and cafes. Only a short walk to the main square, it wasn’t noisy. Communication was good, making self check in/out a breeze. The room, with all amenities was clean.
The cleanliness and comfort were outstanding, and the kitchen surpassed our expectations with its extensive selection of amenities. Additionally, the owner's warm and welcoming demeanor added to our delightful experience.
