There are so many reasons we enjoyed this hotel: amazing view of the entire Bran Valley including viewing the Bran Castle from our terrace, really great food, particularly the breakfast buffet was to DIE FOR!!!. Extremely quiet and relaxing area, where you can truly reconnect with nature. But the best part for us was the very cute library at the top of the hotel with 360 views of the valley where one could lounge for hours and get immersed into reading in comfy cocoon chairs. Adorable place with a very pleasant staff!!!

It was very clean and overall beautiful! The view from the room was also very beautiful as we could see the Bran castle. The bathrooms were clean and we had all the things we needed in them, toothbrush, toothpaste, house shoes, shampoo, conditioner, pretty much all the amenities you get in a 5 star hotel! We also really enjoyed the breakfast, the food was very delicious and the staff was amazingly kind and gave us everything we wanted and more! The croissants were my favourite part of the breakfast. The coffee was also delicious!
My favourite thing from this stay has to be the cats that live on the property - they are all so beautiful and loving towards people and you can see that their owners love them very much!

Wow what an experience! The view is amazing, like in the pictures and even more.
The cabin is stunning. Spacious, clean, organized, tidy and maintained at a very high level. There is thought about the small details: capsules for the coffee machine, cleaning capsules for the dishwasher, even apple juice in the fridge. They changed our towels and cleaned the cabin.
The owner of the place, Simona, is available for any question and is really attentive and charming.
Highly recommend

An area full of medieval history and well-known legends in the heart of Transylvania. Lots and lots of things to see, places to visit and experiences to try. The natural beauty of the mountains, landscapes and old villages full of traditions makes this place a gem. Very close to many other historical attractions, adventures, natural beauties or culinary attractions.

The main attraction there is Dracula Castle, which I believe is over commercialist, thanks to the writer Bram Stoker. There are a plethora of stalls selling local products as well as food. Personally, I`d rather be somewhere else like Cheile Gradistei, Fundata, or Moeciu de Sus where nature is at its best offering postcard pictures of the mountain.

Bran is definitely a tourist town.
Bran is definitely a tourist town. However, it is also a historic town. The castle is the main attraction and it is well worth a visit. We visited a few days before Halloween and it was packed with tour groups and families. There are markets in town, both at the foot of the castle. One is located right by the entrance and it consists of local souvenirs. The other one is across the street and it has good made by local artisans.
The views in the town are breathtaking. If you don't mind a busy tourist town, Bran is worth a visit for the history and the amazing views.
Parking around the castle can be a nightmare so getting accommodations within walking distance is highly recommended.

This was my first trip to Romania and I decided to keep a room in Bucharest while I traveled to Bran for two days thinking I would want to spend more time in Bucharest. However it has been the opposite. I should have stayed an extra day in Bran. Bran is very close to Brasov so you can get there in 30 minutes, even can use Uber. However, I recommend renting a car. You can pick up the car from train station if renting on Expedia as I did. I say spend more time because I got to Brasov and got the car. Parked near the Black Church and walked the square/ plaza area. This was incredible in and of itself. But after eating I headed to Bran and to my hotel (which was great). I could stay in Bran and see that view every day. But the next day I toured the Bran castle and then drove to Pele’s Castle and the Cantacuzino castle. By the time I returned to Bran was 6 pm. Perfect you might say, I saw everything in a day. Wrong. The next morning I got up and walked to the other side of the castle (down the street) and took pictures. I then drove to a place with views of the countryside. I had no time for anything else as I went back to Brasov ate lunch and left on the train back to Bucharest. Would have been better for more time in Brasov but even more so to explore other towns around Bran (within 2 hours) and to drive the Transfagarasan highway which is considered the most beautiful road in the world. (You need 8 hrs round trip to be able to do this drive from Bran so an extra day just for this) Also, white water rafting and hiking the Transylvanian Alps would have been cool.
Note in Bran there are a lot of places to eat. Most hotels have a restaurant and then the standalone restaurants (only two of these) can stay open later for a late night drink as well. There are shops to pick up snacks and groceries as well. And there are a ton of souvenir shops outside of the entrance to castle. (Which is just behind a couple of restaurants along the road)

Typical tourist center.
Typical tourist center. Near the market where you can buy souvenirs, wine, honey, Romanian national food and clothes. There are restaurants and cafes, pharmacies. Everything is nearby. I would like to improve the pavement for pedestrians in the tourist center and in the market, for example, lay paving slabs or asphalt.
We had an amazing stay at Conacul Törzburg. From the moment we arrived the owners and staff made us feel at home throughout our 5 day stay. The hotel only has 7 rooms so it has a very homey, cozy feeling. The garden is beautiful to hang out and enjoy. You totally forget you are in a busy, tourist area. The food is delicious. We ate every meal there and never got tired of the tasty Romanian food. Thank you again for making our stay in Bran so memorable. Matilda misses all of you and of course the cats.
The food was great. Many assortments.
The staff was friendly towards us and helpfull when we asked for help and took good care of us.
The whole hotel is like a vacation home up on the hill. It is very comfy and clean.
I would recommend wholeheartedly.
Be mindfull to take the road that is closest to Bran, not the first one that appears on waze. The first one is a muddy road and the second one is paved all they way to your stay(note, this is not the hotels fault but google's)
The hotel is located less than 10 minutes by car from Bran castle. It has a free parking. The room is very clean and comfortable. There are shared terraces at every floor, as well as comfy sofa and fridges. The view of the mountains is beautiful. The staff is incredibly friendly, the hotel is run by a family and they treat like you are part of it. The breakfast is outstanding. I have rarely enjoyed my stay as much anywhere. I couldn't recommend it more.
Beautifully decorated rooms with an amazing view of Bran Castle. We loved being able to sit on our private balcony and enjoy the castle lit up at night! Breakfast was superb with breads, fruits, fresh juice, sausages, bacon and omelets if you wanted. It was more than we expected. Super nice and excellent hosts.
The apartment was clean warm and comfortable. The location was excellent as we came to Bran to see the Castle. We had an excellent view from our balcony including the castle.
All amenities were within walking distance.
We had a fabulous time and we will definitely come back.
Beautiful place, super cozy, very clean and spacious, each room has its own bathroom,we enjoyed the views of the city and Bran Castle from the jacuzzi at night, highly recommend it!The owners are great people,we felt welcomed and confortable.
It was a big and clean room, 7 minutes walking to the center. It has a big kitchen and fridge downstairs.
The room faced one mountain and was nice to see from the balcony, the bran castle was behind so it was not visible from there.
A beautiful property with the best view of Bran Castle in the city. It was majestic. Well located so everything was close! And THE FOOD!!! Oh the food was incredible! The staff was so kind and attentive. We will be back!
Great location. Each of our two rooms had terrace with view of Castle Bran.
Breakfast was limited but what was provided was fresh and more than adequate/ample.
A place full of character.
The house is located in very silent place, not very close to Bran castle and most restaurant. It is very clean and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and kind. Highly recomended.
Nice room. owner is very pleasant. very clean. kitchen is equipped with almost everything possible. feels like home. nice quiet surroundings, 5 minutes walk from Bran castle.
Very clean throughout, lovely and friendly, menu was varied and the food was good.
Only 4km from Bran Castle. Out of the way of the tourist area but close enough to get to
It is located in the heart of Bran, exactly like stated. Very close to castle bran and the market.
There are two grocery stores, restaurants, and bakeries near the cabin.
Everything was great! The location - very close to the Castle, great facilities, exceptional view (we could saw Bran Castle from our bed) and delicious food (breakfast)!
The location was great, within walking distance to Bran Castle.
The view from the room was really nice.
Breakfast was ok and the free parking very useful.
