This experience definitwly made us feel as though we time warped to the 80s!
One room balcony had the view of the city and mountains but our other room had a view of other people rooms which made it unpleasant to open the curtains.

A clean and easy to walk around little city. What we found hard to find, was a great place to eat, the personnel was not rude, but not overly excited that we were there, except for Stogu, were we felt welcomed.

We liked the place we're we stayed for the night-Cabana Vânătorilor, it was a very quiet and beautiful place.
We were taking dinner at Europa restaurant, and good food and affordable prices.
It easy to get around Băile Olănești.
The location is recommended for the terapeutic springs that are located there, for relaxation and for escaping the big towns and enjoy the fresh air.

Very nice spa town, The air is fresh and clean, you have plenty of walking paths in nature, but also you have many restaurants and facilities in the town. Is a relaxing place where you can spend time and can do lot of activities.

There isn't really much to do around but to enjoy the landscape, walks in the nature and the really calming environment. It is not a crowded place so i find it perfect for relaxation. There are also a couple of Spa resorts, not very fancy but just alright for a weekend, they also have indoor pools for children which is really great.
Pretty well located, in the center of the town. You get exactly what you expect for the value, it's pretty cheap, so don't expect that much :). But its clean, you have all the facilities advertised , clean sheets , clean towels.
I think this is a location suited for either people that need just one night, passing through , or elderly that look for a cheap but still ok hotel, for a longer stay , say 7 days or more.
Nice place very close to the central park and river. Small but good enough room with comfort bed, private bathroom, cabinet, and even fridge, but we didn't use it. There are common kitchen and also microwave and coffee machine. Very nice balconies to have relax. I staid one week with my son 8 years old. Would recommend this hotel.
The hotel is great for a 3* compared to many others in Romania or abroad. The staff was nice and helpful and the location has great facilities with an amazing spa! Totally recommend buying the room with spa access. Special thanks to the staff at the spa who were over the expectations! Amazing program at the sauna!
The location is good, close to the central park and almost everything else you might need in Olanesti.
We stayed in the renovated section of the hotel. The room was modern, with new furniture and new carpets. The mini fridge is in the room was great for drinks as the temperatures outside were quite high.
Best breakfast I have ever had in Baile Olanesti! The staff is awesome and satisfied our requests. If I had to come and visit Baile Olanesti I would stay again at Pensiunea Iulia Star! Remember, Iulia Star is a five star pensiune, the equivalent of a 3.5 stars hotel, and a 4 stars restaurant!
The vacation in this location, overall, was good. The hotel has a good position in town, breakfast and burgers were awesome, the staff inside the hotel were pretty nice (except a lady from reception, but nothing important).
The room was crystal clean and we had new clean towels every day.

I don’t know why, but the personal of the this Hotel are very unhappy :) they are really rude, so 0 customer respect! the rooms are very noisy and parking places are ectremly limited! You need to wait aprilix. 10 minutes for hot water in the shower :)
Just so beautiful. Stunning forest to explore by foot ~ The house was so warm & cody with every facility we needed. For other guests, the Imperial hotel in the town has a magnificent hot spring spa that you can enjoy.
Everything was perfect! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was big and very nice decorated, the breakfast was tasty. The location is very close to the city center. We will sure return to this hotel.
