The site/facilities were great, in a good location. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to assist in anyway they could. The breakfast was delicious and generous. They had juice and a water dispenser on hand in the common areas which were much appreciated. The room was clean and the back patio was lovely for morning g coffee.

It was exactly what we needed!
The room was big enough, the staff super friendly, everything was tidy and clean, it was with a very relaxed vibe and space for our 3 year old to explore play and enjoy.
The breakfast was with enough variety and very good.

It was an excellent discovery and an experience that we will not forget. The starting highlight is Silvia, who gave us a very friendly welcoming and helped us with delight with our wishes. We had a wonderful sleep with no noises and excellent beds, including an extra proper bed, replacing a sofa bed. The space with the pool and the jacuzzi just made our experience unforgettable, with breathtaking views over the river and all the nature around. Pictures are very good but cannot show the sounds and smell of the little paradise there. It has a good big cooling fridge. Soap, shampoo and gel from Rituals.
We discovered that some improvements in the house have been made which make some comments in Booking invalid. This shows to me the high focus on the customer and their willingness to improve. For instance, our house 1) had all the windows (6 windows) with inner wooden shutters that allow full dark, 2)the shower had a glass instead of a curtain, 3)the sofa bed was replaced by a proper wonderful bed.
Breakfast is wonderful highlighting award-winning cheese, delicious fresh cheese, dried jam, freshly made scramble eggs at a very calm place.
The view from hammock at the courtyard towards the orange field and the forest is amazing.

It’s a small village by the sea and river. It has a beautiful light and lots of beautiful places to explore nearby. Restaurants there are very good, tou wont eat badly and you’ll find good food for a every price range.

Milfontes is in a lovely area, with good beaches to north ans south of the Estuary. The Quinta is in a lovely rural area. The disadvantage of this is that there are no facilities for evening meals. Sao Luis has a good basic retsaurant serving well cooked basic meals [several others were close].
I have visited Milfontes several times and have always found it difficult to find a suitable restaurant. If prices are not displayed on the outside menu I walk on by. Previously we stayed in Duna Parque's seaside hotel when it had links with the diocese, and used the hotel restaurant

This is a beautiful, peaceful place with amazing landscapes , great food and perfect to reconnect with nature and yourself. Very few tourists traps in comparison with other places I've seen. All feels at reach and within a walkable distance. You can switch from just enjoying a splendid, quite day at the beach to learning how to kayak in the waves of Atlantic or up the river or just play with the stand up puddle in the bay. And you can even do yoga on a SUP! The water was cristal clear and around 19 degrees early October when I went, but after the first chilly deep this would feel actually nice and refreshing. Tracking is another popular option in the area, with multiple possibilities to explore the nearby spectacular cliffs and hidden beaches. The secret is to come with an open heart and respect the impact you may have so others can enjoy same serene experience you'll have. For me it was a perfect place to go alone or with someone special.

Enough public parking for free. A good few eateries and restaurants as well as a supermarket in town.

Just love this place.
Just love this place. We had a fantastic lunch outside of town called A Fateixa. Very good food, good staff. lovely place. A bit pricy but real good. By the sea. Then we had lunch at a hidden gem. Big and spacious.
The make good portuguese good and some Italian food. It has a large parking aeria.

The apartment is beautiful and fully comprehensive with kitchenette, clean towels, nice ambience, helpful staff and kind and humble Portuguese staff (Jessica and Santos). The beaches are near the property and don't forget to check the nearby restaurant, Patio Aletengano for its awesome portions of Bachalau, Portuguese soup, etc.Driving here is easy and there is a Spar nearby though I wish there was an Aldi here. Wish we had stayed longer here.

This hotel is EXCEPTIONAL!! Exceeded all of our expectations. Stayed 4 nights and we would happily stay a full fortnight!! View was breathtaking, large terrace with really comfortable furniture. Breakfast perfect. Tea, coffee and freshly baked delicious cake to help yourself to throughout the day plus complimentary port and aperetifs for a nice nightcap before you go to bed. Outstanding hospitality!! Excellent selection of restaurants an easy walk.
The room was clean and comfortable. We liked the outside table which was undercover so we could go outside even in the rain. The ping pong table and selection of books was appreciated on the one very stormy day we had. The walk along the Rota de Vincentina along the ocean towards Porto Covo can be started from hotel. It's a beautiful walk.
Super clean and cosy studio that had everything one needs, including washing machine. Location was convenient and close to everything. The host, Nuno, was very helpful with everything.
Also the village of Vila Nova de Milfontes has good wibes. Hope to be able to come back someday so that I can enjoy it all in better weather.
This hotel is a special place. It’s located in an old olive grove with hundreds of very old trees. The property is designed very well following old moorish designs. The breakfast was delicious. The owner, a French painter showed us around the old buildings of the olive mill and the mansions. We also enjoyed the large pool.
You will love your stay at Casa das Marias. The rooms are new and spotless and have a King size bed. You are minutes to many great restaurants and beaches. The proprietor is very pleasant and goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and have a great stay. I highly recommend Casa das Marias.
The location of the hotel is little but outside of a small village, surrounded by fields. It looks cozy, with spacious shared living spaces and a kitchen. Rooms are nice and there are 2 shared bathrooms, which is just enough. The owner is very nice and greeted right upon our arrival.
Great location, super friendly host, very accommodating, spotlessly clean, front & rear balconies. We couldn’t ask for more. We were given a nice basket of fruit which was very thoughtful. Fantastic accommodations & town. We even booked for a second night to go for a great hike.

Very nice, clean and big room in the new part of the hotel and in central location. Plenty of restaurants around. The new rooms do not have ACs yet but we did not need it anyway.
Everything you needed was there, especially kitchen wise. It was roomy, very clean and very comfortable. We wish we had better weather to enjoy the patios. We recommend!
