Situated just outside of Chavez and near the Spanish border, this is a perfect jumping-off point for journeys around northern Portugal, and seems to be a hub of activity around the town, especially the restaurant. The restaurant was lovely and had huge portions of regional cuisine. The staff is incredibly nice, and the proprietor is a genial host. Just a great slice of life in northern Portugal.

The location was by far the best aspect of this Hotel. The outdoor pool is very nice and the extended opening hours of the coffee/bar are convenient.

It is a nice place to stay with spa facilities, ideal for a little escape. Good breakfast. There is a restaurant, and the meals are ok, but a little expensive. If you like tranquility and calm days I would recomend you to stay only from monday to friday, because in weekends the hotel and facilities are very crowdy, to much guests for me. We've stayed from thrusday to saturday and the difference was huge, even the breakfast was very much enjoyable in friday than saturday.

Beautifully renovated house in the center of Vidago within walking distance from a fountain where locals (and tourists) get fresh water. Leonardo, the host, was a very kind and considerate host, making sure that we-including our dog- were comfortable in our spacious and stylish room. Anevan enjoys a location in Vidago, 14 miles from Chaves Thermal Spa and 15 miles from Carvalhelhos Thermal Spa. There's a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay.
