Joana at the front desk was very professional and nice. Room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. Bathtub and balcony were unexpected extras. Central location in a surprisingly fun and vibrant town. Value for money was great.

A little gem of a village, very close to Oporto city (30km). Lots of nice, modern, restaurants and bars and other amenities, nice architecture, typical of Northern Portugal . Great starting point for day excursions, with lots of sightseeing-worth locations nearby. Easy to walk around on foot-The medieval Castle has lots of character. The food is generally good.

Our room was warm and comfortable (we were there in March). We had a triple room and all the beds were comfortable. The wifi signal was strong. The hotel had lots of amenities - indoor heated pool, hot tub, sauna, Turkish bath and fitness facility. The breakfast was extensive - they even had scrambled eggs! The only downside for us was the location of the hotel. We are walking the Caminho Português and the only restaurant within 1km is a high end and expensive. Having said that, the hotel is right on the Caminho route.
I stayed here while walking the Camino Portugues as it was full in San Joao de Madeira that night (Easter holidays) and this was a really pleasant surprise.
Room was great, a proper hotel room with everything I needed, plus a big balcony where I got to watch a surprise Easter procession outside. Breakfast was included and had good options. Plus the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would happily stay again.
Luxury is in the experience and this hotel prices you, through the people that work there, the most warm and personal experience you could wish for in a hotel.
People like Adriana and Patricia will make sure your stay is as best as it can be (and maybe better than that).

This is a fairly new hotel, so everything is in good condition. I am not sure how the rating system works in Portugal, but I would rate this is a good 3-star hotel - a step above an IBIS Hotel, but in the same category. Bonus is the inclusion of a nespresso-type coffee machine in the room.
very clean and outstanding staff. convenient to Camino and a tremendous restaurant in the building just in front of the hotel. small packed lunch prepared for us due to our early departure the next day!
the room sizes for the value of the money is amazing if you need a nice moden hotel in this area I would recommend this hotel as it’s good value for money.
