Recently renovated apartment with a well equipped kitchen.
Great location, just 2 mins walking from the town's main square and 5mins walking from the closest beach.
Next to a small square with some parking space.
Beds were comfortable, though a bit hard, which might not please everybody.
Host was very nice and quick to reply.
A typical seaside town that quietens down after the season.
A typical seaside town that quietens down after the season. We visited in February so almost everything was closed. It was lovely because there were no tourists and you could easily find a place in a restaurant (although it wasn't that easy to find an open restaurant). The center still has the feel of an old-type fishing village with tiny cute white and blue houses, but you can see and feel the pressure of the modern beach town which is just behind the old city center. Great beaches and amazing cliffs add to the attractiveness of Porto Covo both in winter and in summer.

Gorgeous spot to visit if you want to stear away from big crowds. Views are breathtaking with a bunch of beaches connected by caves and grottos. There really isn't much else there. A small little village with some eating facilities and a small supermarket. It's a perfect spot for one day and night. The fact that you can park your car wherever you please is also very nice.

Great location for beach goers, with multiple pristine, gorgeous coves in close walking proximity.
Friendly staff; we were upgraded to an ocean front view room and they were able to accommodate our request for a late checkout, last day of our trip so we were able to enjoy the beach before our long flight home.
Breakfast (included) was plentiful and offered many options.
Our trip included stays at 5 hotels, this was the only one that actually had a stocked mini fridge.

Porto Covo is an attractive little town with a small fishing harbour. The Main Street has a lot of very touristy shops. A fair choice of restaurants to eat in but nothing special. It was easy to get to using the very efficient Portuguese bus service and a good place to start walking the Rota Vicentina.

Beautiful little town. Nice restaurant.
Beautiful little town. Nice restaurant. Lovely little local fish and fruit market open in the mornings only. No main supermarket that I could see, only small local ones. But a beautiful beach and cove.

Sweet town, but very touristy feeling.
Sweet town, but very touristy feeling. Tour buses dropping people in, and the restaurants felt geared for tourists too. (though check out the pizza place in the main street, excellent).
Great view from the coastline but not a swimmable beach. Really central to some great day trips, but I think there are better towns in the area for a longer stay.
Check out the horseriding nearby, excellent.
Very nice place with a direct view at the ocean. Regardless whether you have a lot money or not , this is a place for you. You can choose between a nice Hotel room for yourself or a bed in dorms/Hostel style room. The service is just perfect and the people are super nice.
A side note :
The German description says something about bathtubs when booking the most expensive rooms but there are none. But even that was handled perfectly by the manager.
Lovely, warm & inviting place. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Lots of very nice touches. The staff went out of their way to be gracious and hospitable. Dinner was generous, and breakfast was excellent.
The grounds were beautifully kept and truly enjoyed the animals. The animal sanctuary was well taken care of.
Thank you Angela for the warm welcome. And thank you to Ryan and his family for taking great care of us.
Location and Porto Covo were wonderful. Communication exceptional and the hosts so friendly. Room was simply decorated and very clean with everything you needed. We had a room with balcony and gorgeous views. Breakfast was delicious, lots of fresh homemade items, relaxed dining on the terrace. There is nothing to fault.
A very warm welcome and great experience. I could not have asked for more in my short visit to Porto Covo. Clean, spacious, well decorated, literally next to the beach and on the Main Street with restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and very quiet, exactly what you need after a day walking. Thank you Luisa
A very friendly helpful host - probably the best we have encountered in Portugal !!
Room very clean
Communal breakfast area and outside enclosed seating was really useful - great for snacks tea etc and some supplies available and use of fridge etc
The room had all that we needed and bed was comfortable
Oscar was an amazing host. He helped us out with all our questions and activities. We really wanted to rent MTB but they couldn't fit in our car so he helped us out. Also found the best surf coaches to teach us the whole week. Best place in Porto Covo and definitely going back!
Very comfortable, well equipped cottage. Up a dirt track - so be prepared for that. Very peaceful area and good for sitting out. Nice to have a bottle of wine and coffee pods left for us. Convenient for walks along the coast at Porto Covo.
Great location, one minute walk to the beach and the town center. Supermarket, butcher and restaurants/stores all nearby. The apartment is spacious e very well equipped with a great outside communal area with several barbecues available.
Beautiful little hotel close to the ocean with great restaurants below, the staff was friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed our dinner and the restaurant, I would recommend staying here and hope to visit again soon.
Excellent location to stay in Porto Covo. Very easy to walk around the small city, head to the beach and see the amazing view. The hostess that handed me the keys was super nice and friendly!
Great hospitality and very nice hotel. Comfortable room and terrific pool! Very helpful with storing luggage and providing information on hiking Fisherman’s Trail. Will return for sure!
Comfortable, quiet, colorful, a kitchen. A very friendly and helpful host. Porto Covo is a really cool town on some of the most beautiful coast in Portugal.
