Beautiful fishing village with real Portuguese flair. We have been there three times in the last 15 years. My wife's favorite and dream place. The city is slowly going through a transformation and is becoming more touristy, but we can't judge that hardly since we were always there before or after the season. On the weekends, we noticed a little negatively the many tourist buses that flooded the city for an afternoon.

Nazaré is beautiful.
Nazaré is beautiful. It's a great place to chill and watch the sea. The beach is wide and clean. All the restaurants and bars in the area (that we tried) were great. Shopkeepers were kind and helpful. Be sure to get up to the Lighthouse and check out the Surf Museum. Super cool. It's 2eu to get in and totally worth it. The views up there are awesome. Seriously, I have not one negative thing to say about it.

Nazare was wonderful. I wear accommodations were great. Gil the manager was amazing with us. In fact my friend left her coat in the closet. When they cleaned the room he found it and sent me messages and mailed it to a spot where we could pick it up. That was amazing.
The apartment was adorable It was perfect for our purposes the view from one bedroom of the ocean was amazing. The view off the kitchen balcony was great and we could see the ocean as well. This is a perfect apartment for two people sometimes for.
I would certainly book that again if I were to be in that area. Thank you

Quaint little town with local vibes, great for a few days visit. It was very chilled and quiet and surrounded by beautiful forest. Cuisine is mainly fish and seafood, though there are plenty of Italian and meat places. Also choc a block with gelaterias!!! We caught Carnaval and it was fun to see the cavalcade and the locals dressed up.

What I liked best was seeing the big wave surf contest. There were these amazing and huge 20-50 ft waves that arrived in sets located near the lighthouse on the cliff at the North Beach while I was in Nazare. The beach was also very nice and wide both north and south of the lighthouse. The sunsets were spectacular, and I enjoyed watching the sun set while drinking wine and people watching at the little beachside restaurants. I also enjoyed walking down south to the marina and going north to the surf museum at the lighthouse on the big cliff in the town of Sitio. The local bus only cost €1.50 to ride from Nazare (near the central market) to Sitio where the lighthouse is located. The traditional food (seafood) was really fresh and I liked that the tradition of fish drying that is done by the fish ladies was still being practiced.

Great beach but the real action is on the hill in Sitio where there are the great surf waves to be seen in the winter months and the very impressive display of surf boards and photos of the guys who've surfed the world's biggest waves in Nazare,
New, clean and near the beach. Our group of 10 was able to get enough rooms in the small hotel (there are only about 6-8 units). There was enough space in the room and bathroom and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the Juliet balcony where we could see the beach. There were metal “black out” doors instead of blinds, which ensured a good sleep. Though we didn’t use it, the fridge and kettle/tea were a nice touch.
This is a lovely apartment in a great part of Nazare. Easy walk to north beach and the light house to see the waves, plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. It is close to the top of the funicular (which was closed for renovations during our stay). Easy walk down to the town and main beach. Steep walk back, so if the funicular is closed, get a taxi - best €5 you will spend!
I travelled throughout varies areas of Portugal. One thing that stands out is how super clean all places are kept. This property was above and beyond with being neat, tidy and clean. The host met us at the property to show us a few things. She was wonderful. The beds very comfortable, the towels very nice, the bathroom/shower perfect! Great job. Thank you
Hotel is located in the center of Nazare, next to stores, restaurants and beach. It has own garage that makes it convenient for keeping the car. The was big, clean and nice balcony. The hotel has excellent breakfast for all tastes and staff is very helpful and courteous. We enjoyed with our stay and very happy with our choice to stay at Praia.
Exceptionally comfortable and clean hotel with airy spacious rooms. Staff were fabulous and maintained a lovely relaxed environment. The staff who managed breakfast were particularly lovely and did a super job. Pool was a real bonus as nearest Nazaré beach not best for swimming. Great location pretty much on the beach. Nazare is a wonderful beach town with a magnificent beach. This hotel is perfectly located. One issue was the noise of car streaming by and people in the quarter until later at night. The bathroom is tiny but very nicely remodeled. It has the best shower I have ever used.
The location was great, right on the ⛱️ beach. We went for a walk to Sitio. The funicular wasn't working to get there. Nobody said Portugal was flat. Very nice old Town. Nazare had many restaurants to choose from. Walking along the beach was nice. Pictures of the room portrayed it perfectly.
Fantastic little apartment with good quality appliances. Extremely clean. Super big bed, quality linen, lovely plants, the right amount of hangers, heater in the bathroom (not a given in Portugal in winter), free parking very close by. Very easy check-in and check-out I strongly recommend it!
The appartment was very clean, have all you need to stay in the room for travels, There are many stapes to reach the appartment but this is very coment in Portugal. Parking is close and you need to have luck to find a spot to part since it is very full most of the time.

Nice modern hotel with a very friendly staff. Breakfast was impressive. The location is ideal to explore the Nazare city and close to the lighthouse to watch the waves. Hotel has its own parking. Welcome port wine shots were amazing)
Hotel is right on the beach and the main square. Which is fine unless it’s Carnival. The funicular to the top was nearby which was nice. Taking that to the top was the high point (literally) of brief time in Nazare.
We had breakfasts at very nearby restaurants and those breakfasts were the best we had in Portugal. We could have used Real Holiday's very beautiful and well equipped kitchen but chose to try local cuisine.
Very nice hotel in the center of Nazare, only few meters from beach. Very, very friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Big room and parking in the hotel cost only 5 euros. We had very nice time here.
