The house was cozy and well-equipped with a quaint breakfast and amazing pool. The decor was true to the vibes being vintage and no signs of Ikea. The animals on the property were respectful of visitors but were very friendly if given the chance:) Little oasis in the middle of the country far away from civilization perfect to get away. Overall, loved the stay!

Two touring cyclists found this gem after a wet, windy ride. A fantastic apartment—bright, big, super clean, great kitchen, comfy beds, excellent shower, washing machine, too! Really, really nice! Capped by a HUGE terrace looking straight at the castle—fantastic! And the woman who cares for the place is a gem—obrigado!

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice pool and breakfast, clean room, parking space, well cared outer spaces, restaurant recomendations, and one thing that I personally value: nets to keep mosquitoes away from the room.
Mouroa castle is usually closed but nice to walk around it.
Mouroa castle is usually closed but nice to walk around it. The main castle for the area is Mansaraz castle, just 5 minutes down the road. Wonderful castle with medieval village inside it walls, set on the highest hill in the area. Has shops with fantastic local pottery and restaurants. Also Knights Templar temple, ancient stone monument, and swimming beaches at the large lake in the area. There is a lot to see and do if you want to.
This is a smart and clean hostel and my room felt like a boutique hotel. The room had a lovely bathroom.
I liked having the younger people about as I was on a solo bike tour.
There are shared facilities for making meals etc and beer to buy.
I was there on a Monday and there was nowhere to eat. (The bar up the road was good but only did sandwiches). I bought food from the supermarket.
This hotel offers very nice beautifully furnished rooms in a nice quiet location right in the center of the small town. The town is worth a visit with its small main street bordered by lemon trees. The local castle is also within a short walking distance and the hotel has a pool area for guests.
Great location with views to the Alqueva. Covid safe conditions throughout the hotel. Very attentive and helpful staff. Spacious bedroom with comfortable bed. We received a small pot of honey as thank you present from staying at the hotel which was a nice touch.
This hotel is in quiet location surrounded by olive groves. A great hide away. The decor and ambience of the building is superb. The staff were brilliant and attentive as were the two dogs who went walking with us in the morning
I was expected to enjoy SPA , but there are only available spring pool , that was pity . I liked chika (dog) and liked good service ,nice environment. But the distance is too far And the roadway to getting your hotel was so bad
The hotel is situated nicely. We had a short visit, however we had a lovely time. The place is super neat, clean and quiet. Staff was lovely. The only thing my partner complained about a bit was a firm mattress.
Overall the hotel is quite good.
The food at the restaurant is really good, however there were some restrictions on the reservation schedules. The views are amazing.
