We loved everything about this place! Our host Joaquin was incredibly generous with his time and their dog Noemi greeted us each day. Breakfast was awesome and the bed and room was comfortable and well appointed. The property is gorgeous and close to Guarda, Serra da Estrela and the historic medieval villages. Skip the big cities and spend more time in this region. The people and scenery are amazing!
Additionally, we visited in the winter and were concerned about heating. The units have modern mini-splits we were very comfortable.
We throughly enjoyed our stay Mr. Joquim and his team made us very welcome and catered to our every need. Our room had a varanda with beautiful views over the countryside. It was a great place to relax after walking around the surrounding area. Guarda was a short walk away and the passadiços do Mondego a 20 minutr drive. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay surrouned by nature I would highly recommend booking this accommodation. The rooms are extremely clean and very comfortable..

The hotel is situated just off the Motorway so it is easy to access and we have used it on many occasions on our way to and from the Algarve.

The hotel itself is beautiful. It's built using part of the old city wall, with very good design. The breakfast is really good and the personal is very friendly.
