The weather was perfect and it was very close to the beach (walking distance) as well as supermarkets if you own a car. Everything was clean.
I liked that the rooms were very big and each one had a full bathroom.
We appreciated finding some fruit and local cookies as well as a bottle of water left for us by the owner. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you might need and comfortable. We had coffee, sugar, tea, cleaning supplies as well.
The owner was nice and responded quickly to all of our questions.

Everything was perfect. The owner and staff are meticulously committed to serving the guests as special guests.
Ferrel is a nice little surf town. It does have everything needed for the "normal life". Grocery shopping, restaurants/ bars, pharmacy. If you can't find what you are looking for there is the nearby town of Peniche where you sure will find everything needed. The whole Baleal area does have plenty of surf spots for every level.

If you're looking for a place to go surfing, or learn surfing, Ferrel is just the spot! It's small and quiet, but has many surf rental places, including wet suits and lessons. There are nice restaurants and a small supermarket. The beaches are nice to go for long walks and take some time out.
If you are looking for any further attractions or a big supermarket, you need to go to Peniche.
