My family has been going to this hotel for almost 40 years. I haven’t been there in 29 of those, but had so many wonderful memories. The renovations made to the hotel has kept it as one of my absolute FAVORITE. Perfect location, wood floors, so no nasty carpets, wonderful staff and the breakfast was delicious!

Good value for money. It's simple but good enough if you are looking for an economic option. I stayed on the 3rd-floor in a 2-room, 1-bathroom area with my family and we had a good restful night. There was some noise outside, some kind of noisy machine (I don't know whether it belonged to the hotel or to some construction outside) but it stopped strictly at 10pm and then it the setting was mostly quiet even if the rooms are not soundproof.

Room was small yet modern, very clean, and everything was new. Restaurant was spectacular. Squid was best meal that I’ve had so far in Portugal and 1/2 portion was very generous. Good food, fancy ambiance yet reasonable prices (hard to find this combo in this area). Highly recommend the lodging and restaurant and I thought both were a great value

Diogo and Big Mama are amazing and welcoming. I was fortunate to have two other women staying in the other room that I clicked with. The breakfast was also good. Diogo answered all questions and provided some excellent recommendations for fish restaurants.

Espinho is a great City but there needs to be an upgrade of abandoned properties which ruins the overall good feeling of the City. Location is great for going to Porto, Santa Maria De Feira or Carcavelos.

A small coastal town with a pretty well known Casino. Very much experiencing gentrification, but it still retains its local charm and culture. Plenty of restaurants to suit both high and low budgets, and above all, a place with a stunning sunset.

Great location with a wonderful beach and good views out to sea. Loved the sunrises and sunsets. Good range of quality restaurants and bars. Great for walking along the promenade and / or beach morning or evening, I especially enjoyed the quiet and peace in the mornings before breakfast. If you like to hear waves on the shore you will relish this location.

I wouldn't call it a right place for tourist.The only decent thing there is a beach. However we were missing normal amenities you would expect to find on proper beach like toilets and changing cabins,e.c.
The city itself has not much to offer apart from few nice restaurants and bars.We couldn't find a single bike rent - that is ridiculous.There are no wellness centers with swimming pool,saunas,e.c. around.
This is a great guesthouse! The English speaking staff person welcomed us a bit early to check in. We had secure bicycle parking. Very comfortable bed, clean new bathroom and shower. There was an outdoor space in a patio outside our room plus a patio out front with ocean view. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. Friendly staff. We stayed only one night and would have stayed longer but were concerned about possible rain. We hope to return to Guesthouse A & Z and t Espinho which has great seafood restaurants.
This was our favorite place on our trip. A nice three bedroom apt in downtown Espinho. The location about three blocks to the beach, lots of stores and restaurants close by, we walked to everything in the neighborhood, very nice area of Portugal. The apartment is quite spacious , balconies off the front room and off the kitchen ( good place to dry clothes after you use the washing machine )The host Alexandra was very nice and arranged for us to drop our luggage off early. Highly recommend this apartment.
The hotel is well located on the beach front promenade, close to the train station for trips into Porto and near lots of restaurants. Our room looked recently renovated, everything looked pretty new including the bathroom and the bed was very large and comfy. Our room was an executive suite with side sea view, it was spacious. The sofa was set-up as a double bed for us as the room was used for 4 people. The room would have a nice sitting space if it was used as a double.
Super friendly staff, I honestly felt like I was at home and was taken care of by a bunch of moms and grandmas. 🥰 Comfortable space, good facilities, good price. Veggie options for breakfast. The location is a bit far from the center, 35min walk (which is not a problem if you like to walk or when not carrying a lot of stuff with you. Also Bolt was not too expensive, less than 3eur to arrive from the train station). Will definitely come back when I visit Espinho again!
An excellent apartment that served my needs whilst meeting with friends in Espinho. The host Cristina and her family were lovely and were on hand to help me when ever I needed them. The apartment was quiet and extremely clean and was only minutes away from the centre of Espinho. My flight wasn’t until late on the day of check out and Cristina allowed me to stay a bit longer which was really helpful. I would highly recommend staying at the Easy Stay Apartment.

This looks like a recently refurbished old building on the seafront of Espinho, an otherwise sad-looking place for all its dereliction. So it is clean and fresh with all mod cons.
My room had a skylight over the head of the bed, and if it weren't for the clouds and the light pollution I might have seen some stars. Either way, the openable skylight provides some fresh air without electric ventilation.
I loved every minute of my stay in Botica Guesthouse. The room was very spacious and equipped with all necessary utensils. The bathroom was excellent - loved the shower. Tasteful interior design, AC, comfortable beds. Elisabetta is a lovely and helpful person.

There are many supermarkets close to the hotel, stores with fresh fruits and vegetables. Surf school right in front of the hotel on the beech.
Really cool place to stay in Espinho and to learn surf! The hostel is chill and it has very comfortable amenities, and it is close to the beach. Staff was amazing! Totally reccomended for a break from the work routine.
The location and the attitude of young man running it . The "Why not " is not high luxury . But for self catering , budget conscious patrons it is excellent value . If l return to Espinho .I want to stay there.
The balcony's view over the ocean and beach was stunning. The heaters worked really well. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. There are nice restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets near the hotel.
This hostel is really great, very clean. Diogo and big Mama are very friendship and talkative.If you happen to be in Espinho one day, you should definitely stay in this hostel.
