Modern, relaxing hotel with large rooms a short walk from the historic town of Serpa. A good place to stay on a road trip through this part of Portugal. Parking included and we booked a rate with an excellent breakfast buffet. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom plus double shower and bathtub was a bonus.

The proprietor was one of the most welcoming I have encountered in my 80,000km bicycle ride around the world. Greeting us with “Bring the bicycles inside and store them securely on the patio.” Music to a cyclist’s ears! And very friendly and pointing us to the “best restaurant within 100 kilometers.” True! And, conveniently, 100 meters from the hotel.
The hotel was charming and super clean and super comfortable. Great beds, a lovely deck overlooking the city (and the finest restaurant for 100kilometers).
A really great stay for a weary cyclist—-obrigado!

Location was remote, with stunning views, peaceful, and the perfect spot to relax. We had delicious and delightful meal the evening we arrived. Beautiful property, restored artfully and lovingly. I felt privileged to have had the opportunity to spend time in their homestead.

I have the habit of reading several reviews in order to make my decision to book a place. I was puzzled by the reviews, but our main goal was to visit a VINEYARD!! That said, I began to judge the place by their vineyards. It is immaculate, and I could see how well they look after their plants. The passion and the high standard for the final product was evident.
The flowers and the vegetables garden is well kept. There is plenty of attention to details not only inside our room, but on the entire property, not just where guests can see.
They welcomed us, with a Rose wine, made with Syrah grapes.
We wanted a quiet, rural place with good wine and I got that and more. They are passionate about making quality wines.
I have stayed at Copacabana Palace, Ritz Carlton Miami, Peninsula Hotel NYC and many top hotels, and I would never compare places. I knew I was going to the country side of Portugal, where life is slow...Portugal is like my husband, amazing, yet simple in so many ways. We loved the fact that the property has 10 rooms, I think? It is super private. You feel like going back in time.
The bed was fabulous, awesome size, great linen, good shower pressure, attention to details, the fresh rosemary touch was beyond creative, so sweet. I noticed the fabulous lights in the spacious seating room, the gazebo by the pond, was romantic and peaceful.
It is definitely a place to disconnect, to look at people's eyes, hear the birds, observe the roses mingled with strawberries, or look at the several collard greens planted closer to the cilantro, or the hundreds Aragonez grapes planted like well trained soldiers. It is a beautiful experience. We love it. Thee owners care, and that is priceless!!

We were returning to Porto from a road trip to Cordoba, Sevilla and Gibraltar and happened upon this place simply because it fit the driving times... what a great find! In the ancestral home of Tito, it is a classic village home, with large rooms and high ceilings. We were there in late December 2023, and the lovely living room with fireplace was like "home".
