Weather was great, plenty of restaurants, it is basically a place for hen and stag parties and teenaged clubbing. Great place to eat is Wander Inn and Cockrill.
Very easy to get around as there are plenty of taxis and tuk tuks.
We would definitely avoid staying as close to the nightclubs.

The area can be challenging because of the many hills and steps when getting around. There are lots of really nice places to eat out just of the many square in old town.
The beach has lovely golden sand. The nearby caves can be experienced by daily boat tours.
Some of the town gets crowded with hen/ stag/ groups.

The appartment was brand new. The interior design and finish were lovely. Its location was perfect with a quick walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The hosts could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend!

The beaches are great, some with rocks but most with great sands and views. The catamaran trips and offroad safari are worth it, the seafood and most of every street food is always fresh and tastes great.
For a solo traveler it's ideal. It's fantastic value for money, somewhere to drop your bags and shower and sleep is all I want from a room. Ideally situated between the new and old town so you've got the best of both worlds. Room was clean and spacious, also if you're leaving late there's somewhere to store your luggage. When I come back to Albufeira I wouldn't look to stay anywhere else

Everything about it was perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly. We highly recommend Aparthotel Paladim and if returning to Albufeira will certainly stay here again. Great location , walk out the front door and turn right for New Town strip and left for the Old Town approx ten to fifteen minute walk each way. The apartment we got was lovely , plenty of space with a large beautiful bathroom plus a big balcony overlooking the two pools.

Nice apartment not so far from the old town of Albufeira (5-10 min walk). We had the apartment who was near the pool which was very nice. The host Sandra was the best. She welcomed us in the apartment and showed us around, if there was anything we could text here and she would look if she could help. Some of the equipement in the kitchen were missing and she immediately came with the missing pieces.
Absolutely LOVED Hotel Baltum! The staff were so friendly and our room was ready early for us. It was clean, cozy and had an amazing view off our balcony. It was also an amazing location - we were able to walk to the beach in less than five minutes and we were able to walk all over Old Town. We also took advantage of the amazing rooftop and drinks on the rooftop as well. I could not recommend more!
Absolutely stunning property, if you are looking for a nice quiet family getaway than I would highly recommend staying here. It’s a 5-10-minute drive from pristine beaches and old town Albufeira but is far enough away from these crowded areas for a nice quiet place to rest. The host Tiago was also excellent and was always quick on the response towards any questions we had during our stay.
The property is ideally located for us, very close to pubic transport from the airport, good cafes nearby and an easy walk to the old town and beaches. It was very quiet with no noise or disturbances at night. Good balconies, excellent facilities, a really good size for an extended stay and the bonus of a washing machine, 2 proper bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The hosts are excellent.
Just back from lovely stay in Emeralds. Right beside Albufeira Terrace shopping centre so handy for picking up bits for hols at cheaper rates than home. Poolside bar very good for food & drinks;and rooms were modern & very comfortable. Only 14/15 mins walk to elevators for Old Town. Staff very helpful too. Aircon excellent in rooms too - would definitely recommend 👌

The choice for breakfast was very good. the pool was ok a little deep for kids 1.3 M deep. The hotel has a gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi which is free for guests. The Old Town is full of life and has loads of stalls, restaurants, gift shops etc
This was my second stay at this hotel and again I wasn't disappointed, it is superbly located adjacent to both the beach and the restaurants/bars of the wonderful Albufeira Old Town. The receptionists were helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is spotlessly clean and ticks just about all of the boxes required for a few days away.
The terrace is fantastic. So spacious with plenty of furniture and a beautiful sea view. Nice and safe for children with a high barrier. The apartment had everything we could need and was in a brilliant location close to the beach and restaurants etc in Albufeira old town.
Staff were great, Hotel and rooms were very clean, food was also great, would definetely stay again and at other Vile Gale hotels, Location is also really good, as the tourist train stops directly outside of the hotel so you can get an easy ride to the strip or old town
Hotel was spotless, half way between old town and new strip, staff very helpful and polite, lovely rooms and pools, and bar and food available if required. Beside 2 large supermarkets, each room had cooking facilities also, rooms changed every few days
Lovely hotel situated between the old town and new town. Nice 15-20 minute stroll either way or cheap taxi ride. Hotel was nice and clean, friendly staff, nice pool. Didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on food. I would stay here again 😊
