Wonderful host. Rooms were all good. Kitchen was stocked with basics. Wifi connectivity was great. I took a unit with 2 rooms which both had bathrooms. both rooms had split-AC's and silent. Fans as well. The toilets were well stocked with toiletries. Best location and walking distance to the beach and all restaurants and tour operators. Host also offered complimentary beach chairs and luggage stowaway on the day of checkout.

Great location and extremely nice people. This is not a luxury room, it is for minimalist, the room offers a clean place to sleep and a shower. Great for a weekend getaway. Lazy Jacks bar is attached and extremely busy. Open till 1 am with food and drink. Great staff!

I booked it because of the cats, the peacock, and the location. Rooms were clean, I enjoyed petting one or two of the cats that were friendly. It was a nice location to beaches, good recommendations, Nick was very helpful and accommodating with us. They had informative emails messages before the stay and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I enjoyed seeing the peacock, Reno. We got a laugh when he squawked on the roof. We had a wonderful time. It was nice having a fridge in the common area to store our leftovers. I’d stay here again.

Wow! I've been dying to stay here and it did not disappoint. The property itself is beautiful and so well maintained. Feels lush, unique, and bohemian. Like a magical little retreat in the jungle. The complimentary breakfast each morning was delicious and fully vegan -- the perfect light meal before starting our beach day. The bed was comfortable and the view of the jungle from our room was so dreamy. Plus, the outdoor shower was heavenly. We also traveled with our dog and they had a little bed and food bowls waiting for him. Would definitely stay here again. Also, we rented a golf cart during our stay. Highly recommend you rent some sort of transportation, whether its that or a car.

If you have dreamed of having your own private beach...Vieques is for you! Bring everything you need because there are no facilities on the beaches. Very beautiful, but I think Flamenco beach in Culebra is perfection. My fave is Luquillo Balnearion Monserrate...so convenient.

Most of the remote beaches on the east side are closed due to stray bombs. They do not advertise this fact well.
The social climate on Vieques is somewhat hostile. The vendors are dishonest, trying to rip you off. Lots of rude people, drunks and bums. A fistfight and shouting match broke out on our ferry ride. The locals and strays seem to be annoyed by the masses of tourists. The restaurants are a bit expensive.
Overall it's a huge hassle getting to the island and then finding a car/cart. You're probably better off staying on the big island beaches. That being said, it's a beautiful spot and there's some nice snorkeling spots.

We came to see the BioBay.
We came to see the BioBay. It is quite a chore to get over there, so make it worth your while! We ate at Bananas and talked with a few of the locals. Got to see the wild horses that are all around the island. Enjoyed a sunset walk oceanside.

Must explore the island. So many beaches and scenery to view. Use the time to dine at smaller local restaurants as well for local cuisine. All rental and tourist support places were friendly and very helpful!

Vieques is gorgeous! There are so many beach opportunities. We visited only four beaches on this trip since we spent only one day on Vieques. However, we loved driving across the island on a golf cart and taking in all the scenes. The horses everywhere give it a magical feel, and everyone is so friendly and laid back. Make sure to have cash as many vendors/food trucks don't take cards. The bio bay is INCREDIBLE and should be on everyone's bucket list!!

If you just want to get away and relax Vieques is the place to go. Not a lot to do here, simply enjoy the beaches and relax.
Easy to travel around island. Love all the horses roaming the island.
Ferry easy and safe and inexpensive. Love the bio bay tour of the bioluminescence at night. Real highlight.

Lejos Eco Retreat is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy beautiful view of Vieques Island. Patricia and Phill, whom are the owners, were very friendly, polite and made us feel very welcome at the place. The hotel was beyond our expectations, the pictures doesn’t make justice to the reality since the landscape was marvelous.
Definitely is a place to escape from the city rush and routine. Also, I have to say that breakfast was amazing. I am looking forward to book my stay in the near future.
Perfect location a few feet from the Malecon and the restaurants. The property is very charming, clean and safe. Suzanne, the owner, really goes all out to make you feel at home. She truly cared that we were taken care of and gave us all the info we needed to make our stay on the island a great one. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for taking care of us Suzanne! The location was great. Among the hotels in town, this one was closest to the center of the city, making walking to breakfast a treat! The room was spacious, we had a gorgeous view of the ocean, and our room next to the ocean-side pool was terrific. They had beach chairs and coolers available for us to use, parking was easy, and they made up our room mid-stay - they offered!
Nice quiet area. The guest rooms are somewhat close to the road but infrequently used by vehicles. Large common area with game room, outdoor tables, and available towels/beach chairs. The location is good for going to either Isabel Segunda or Esperanza, but you need a car or taxi. The kids loved the animals (cats = Batman is friendly, Andrew the peacock, chickens, etc).
everything was PERFECT! the host is so friendly and helpful, has the best recommendations, and has thought of everything. There are coolers, chairs, floats, coffee, aloe, a shared kitchen, beach towels, etc. We loved staying in this part of the island vs Esperanza as it’s much quieter but still so many more places to visit. I can’t say enough how wonderful it was!
We had an amazing time at Vieques Good Vibe. The staff was super friendly and let us check-in before the expected hour (we had not slept the night before, so it was incredibly helpful to have a good rest). They welcomed us warmly and gave many good advices to fully enjoy Vieques. Totally recommended if you want to stay in this beautiful island!
The location is great: just 10 mins drive from ferry so if you rent a scooter or UTV that would be convenient. The owner is extremely friendly and welcome which makes you feel at home. We also love the adorable kittens in his garden (in total we counted 5). Room is clean. Price is fair and affordable compared to the other hotels in Vieques.

This is an excellent find in Vieques! We’ ve been coming to the island a lot and we are sooo pleased to find this hidden gem. The facilities are very clean, private and the room is very well equipped and the bed is so soft and comfy. They will be soon opening the restaurant and then it will be perfect! Coming back soon, we loved it!

The house is beautiful and beautifully decorated, and walking distance to bars and restaurants and also a short car (or golf car) drive away from the most beautiful spots on the island. Location is ok, very near of the center of isabella II. Unfortunately Isabella II is suffering of the economic downturn and you might want to choose the southern part of the island (esperanza) which is a bit more lively for tourist.
