The staff there were so nice and really went out of their way to be helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, just a little small. Breakfast was delicious. There were plenty of breakfast choices. The finnish was great.

Really friendly and helpful staff at the ski resort and a good selection of restaurants. Also very reasonably priced. Unfortunately a good number of the ski slopes were closed for no apparent reason meaning that skiing the same slopes became monotonous and meant that everyone was queuing for the same lifts so, long queues. The free ski bus is great but if you are in accommodation on the outskirts of Szczyrk the only way to get to the slopes is by car.

Great family friendly place with a lot of amenities for the little ones and the bigger ones. Not as packed with people like other places which I prefer. You ain't waiting in miles just to get somewhere. Great local people, very friendly and helpful. Lovely nature to enjoy and trekking routes. Prices I would say were normal not ballooned like in more popular cities.

Great remote place.
Great remote place. We stayed in a nicely reconstructed old house which was excellently equipped with everything we needed (in the kitchen etc.) The host and the housekeeper were very helpful. We were biking in the bike park, and the trails (or ski slopes) were just two minutes from the house. Just be very careful while driving from the main road to the house - the forest road is very bumpy, and it is easy to hit the undercarriage of the car if it is lower.

It is traffic jump to go to ski lifts in the morning and back to town in the evening. It took us to drive 8 km 30 min in the morning and 1h 20 min to drive back in the evening. We stayed between Christmas & New Year. It was a lot of people. Huge queues near the lifts: we should wait almost 20 min each time to enter the lift. Just 1 apre-ski restaurant which is crowded on lunch: first of all you should search for empty table (almost impossible to find), then wait for 40 min in queue to order the food (not tasty), then wait for 30 min your food is prepared. Terrible

Warm and bright room.
Some negative moment with the shared kitchen - it is not so comfortable when you travel with kids.
However kitchen has all stuff that are could be needed.
Sauna was ready by the requested time.
Mostly, I was satisfied on 90%.

Szczyrk is a town in a valley surrounded by mountains. You have many options for hiking and also getting onto the summits by cableway. There are some really nice restaurants in the city. City center is really nice with the brook flowing through the city.
The place was exceptionally clean. The staff was very friendly. I was able to leave my luggage inside before my check-in time. The kitchen is very well equipped with a lot of various dishes and utensils and a dishwasher. For bad weather days or winter evenings there is a space with a fireplace, tv and table football. The bus stop and grocery store are within a 5min walk.
We had the pleasure of staying at Sykowno chata for a few days and it was a great experience. The location was perfect for skiing, and the sauna was a great way to relax after a long day on the slopes. Very friendly and helpful owner. Room were comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great ski holiday.
Our stay was absolutely wonderful. A cozy home away from home. The wood stove and sauna were fantastic additions to our stay in Szczyrk. The apartment was spacious, beds comfortable and the wood supply was always stocked. Check-in was seamless and communication with the owner was always prompt and courteous. We would happily stay again.
Lovely roomy hotel with superb breakfast. Swimming pool and wellness center was a huge added bonus. Our dog was half price dus to its small size. For two evenings a week there was fabulous animation for small children which was greatly appreciated. The hotel restaurant served very tasty food and the service there was lovely.
Very nice and cosy hotel with kind and helpful staff. It is close to everything in Szczyrk, also it zas good parking. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, we also linked the SPA zone, especially the outdoor jacuzzi. Breakfast was also very good. We enjoyed our stay :)
Almost perfect stay at Apartamenty Novy Szczyrk. Fantastic and spacious apartment, very nice balcony, great breakfast supported by very friendly staff, perfect wheather, very nice area. Interesting way of opening the parking garage door (by phone).

Balcony with mountain view, location - 8 min walk from Szczyrk centre, big sofa in the lounge. Super nice hosts with quick and efficient communication, we were allowed to stay a bit longer on departure day free of charge.
