The “Old Town “ was very interesting and in parts truly lovely. Unfortunately the weather was very cool and rainy for the 3 days we were there. The previous week the temp was up to 30 degrees. Nobody can control the weather. I’d say there is more to do and see in the summer months. Szczecin is still in the process of being reconstructed and repaired after the horrific destruction of the 2nd World War. The tourist trade is in its infancy and I really do wish it success in the coming years

The well organized self-guided walking tour is a must in order to quickly get a sense of the history of the city. You can get a map at the tourist information bureau (https://maps.app.goo.gl/dC1rWa3e6iSAKNJD6) with brief explanation of dozens of points of interest along the well-marked tour. It takes a good 6 hours walk to make the "red" tour (recommended). The German heritage is very obvious at every step.

Not to miss is Coffee 22 with a beautiful view over the city. The Manekin restaurant at Plac Grunwalski for breakfast is a must. The excellent exhibition Centrum Dialogu "Przelomy", explaining the history between 1945-1990, is definitely worth a visit and important for understanding modern, polish history. You can pay nearly everywhere with card, only for public transportation it's recommended to have some cash in COINS. (vending machine on the train doesn't take bills or cards)

We enjoyed the walking tour very much! We enjoyed eating dinner at Paprykarz Restaurant. Excellent fresh seafood and local menu. We enjoyed eating ice cream nearby.
So much history to enjoy in Szczecin, (Stettin) Poland.

Szczecin having a lot nice historical buildings and amazing waterfront but not much green space in the city where you can relaxing and not much benches, colourful parks for chilling out even is good weather for it . I loved food and places for eating out always fresh and delicious.
The hotel is of a very good quality, nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent. Chek-in and out process is fast. Parking is available on the street free of charge over the weekends and in the night. You need to pay a parking fee just during the daily working hours.
Fantastic. Modern building with elevators and underground parking. The apartment is very clean, nice, aesthetic, tastefully decorated. Hotel service very nice. Breakfast delicious and filling. We will remember the few days spent in this apartment with pleasure. I recommend.
The location of the hotel in a city centre park is lovely for a city break. The room was clean and well furnished but a little on the small side. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinners in the restaurant were very good and there was a good choice at breakfast time.
In one word; perfect! I travel a lot and stay in hotels all the time, in fact this is the 3rd hotel I've tried in Szczecin and its the best by far! Staff super friendly, bed perfect, spa new and spotless!
It is great that there is free parking on the hotel's territory and that the main gate is closed at night. My room had air conditioning, which helped quite a bit because it was hot outside.
