The property is in a private location on a quiet beach.
The owners (Alexi and Lovina) are friendly and, helpful.
There is great snorkelling just off the beach, and a sandy swimming beach nearby.
The beach is fantastic for star-gazing.
On our last evening, we had a dinner prepared by Lovina. I would highly recommend it. It was a delicious meal of local dishes.

Cyril was very accommodating and helpful. His place was very welcoming and well appointed. He allowed my husband and I to stay all day after our checkout time and lounge by the pool and take showers since our flight was not leaving until midnight. We could not have asked for a nicer place or nicer owner! Highly recommend!

The room was very nice, a/c worked properly, plenty of utensils, pots, pans in the kitchen to make meals with. Would recommend having a car if you stay here. You are a close walk to a public beach and Lani’s BBQ (definitely go, it’s delicious!), but farther from other places.

The landlady was very accommodating. She even drove us to the airport at 5am for our 8am international flight. I forgot to ask her name, but thank you very much.

I spent my first night in Tahiti at the "soleil couchant" and this is was my last night in Tahiti. My solo trip couldn't ending more perfectly!
I forgot to mention the amazing Breakfast provided with an extra 1,200FCP which totally worth it :):) Jean-Francois's omelette was to die for. you will have some viennoiresrie and fruit as well.
The stay was so quiet and relaxing. I will come back for sure to my next trip, they provided me with some tips for my future trips in French Polynesia :)
Merci Patricia et jean-Francois, you are amazing people I am glad to have meeting you :)
Location to village stores were handy. Best shopping was at Pappette. Mountains to your back, ocean in front of you. Easy to drive on the roads. Some communication probs but French translator app was very helpful. Local language is beautiful if you are there long enough to speak it. Handy community bus service that ran 6 days a week.

Not very much to see in Papara and very few interesting places for tourists and visitors, especially restaurants and shops. There's one Supermarket and a couple of gas stations and nothing is withing walking distance from the
Alexy was a wonderful, helpful host and super responsive before and during our stay. The bungalows are a close walk to a beach with great snorkeling (Alexy gave great info for managing the current) and to an old Tahitian temple. There is also a restaurant and grocery store within walking distance. The bungalow had a great little kitchen though it was hot and humid for cooking. We enjoyed the covered deck during the couple of storms that blew in.
the lodge is located in a marvellous location on the beach with amazing sea garden. wonderful snorkelling. you can also rent kayak/paddle or go surfing to the beach that is 5 min walking from there. quiet, calm and peaceful. close to many attractions nearby. if I return to Tahiti, I will choose Manomano. no annoying bugs inside the bungalows which was very comfortable. kitchen was well equipped. Alex is a wonderful host ! sunsets are incredible
You can snorkel right on the beach, I saw a black tip, nice anemone in only 30". You can walk to Papara (beach break) BUT driving easier <5"
Owner super helpful. Full kitchen, 3" to supermarket. Bring salt! Fans, no AC. We are surfers, this is not a super "romantic" spot more a practical value close to several breaks including TEAHUPOO about 35" away. BTW, best surfing requires boat taxis which cost minimum of $150 for a few hours.
The property is really root vibes and the staff is SOOOO GENTLE AND ATTENTIVE! What me and my friends liked the most was the beach right in front of it with the facilities provided from the hotel such as kayak, snorkeling, water shoes, sun beds and showers. The breakfast was great, fresh and even though my friends had food restrictions, as they are vegan, the staff made the food fit perfectly for what we needed!
It’s affordable, has great relaxed seating right on the beach (with and without shade), and the BEST snorkeling — absolutely unreal reefs, clear visibility, and beautiful black sand with striking white coral washed up. The accommodations are basic with mediocre comfort, but it’s a great value and the property itself is fantastic for the first few nights of an adventurous trip in Tahiti.
