This place was absolutely AMAZING! They thought of everything from the magazines beside the bed to the homemade muesli (and other treats!). I would recommend the Perch to all of my friends and family! It was the best way to end our vacation and I hope to have the chance to return and stay there again. It's a little secret that I'm happy to share with the world!

Very spacious, book-a-bach feel that was very welcoming and warm without turning on the heating. We felt so comfortable we wished we had booked longer than the one night stay. Will definitely book again when the opportunity rises, given its location as there are so little to choose from that far north.

The location was great, being an hour's drive away from Cape Rienga. Right across the street was a pub/restaurant with very good food! Friendly locals too. A small grocery store where we could buy breakfast and lunch items next door to the pub. The grounds of the motel were nice, where we could walk along above the bay to enjoy beautiful sunsets. Our room was very clean, had a kitchenette, private bathroom and shower. The owner was very helpful giving us tips on where to go during our 3 days there.

Beautiful country stay, especially if you want somewhere close to Cape Reinga, the host is easy and prompt to communicate with and the lodge is very nice and clean!
Kitchen facility is easy to use and the common area is comfy. Awesome that the rooms have its own en-suite!
