Another sliding door unit. Never had these before, they're kind of growing on me. The unit was really spacious and the bathroom was huge. Everything seemed in excellent shape or newly remodeled. Bed comfy. Check in in the restaurant / bar.

The proximity to the Glow Worm Dell was perfect - easy walking distance (and well worth the visit). Remember not to take lights and be quiet.
Good location to shops/restaurants etc and the beach area.
The area is beautiful, the beach and the lake. There is free camping at the lake by the way. I would do that next time. I ate at the Mahinapua Hotel however most of the time the kitchen is closed. What I had was basic. I would recommend Fat Pippi's pizza for whitebait fritters. That would be my next choice. I would avoid the Mahinapua Hotel on my next visit.
