Great spot... Stayed for work.. Store closed early but great meal at the Pub over the hill. Great friendly locals . Very quiet this time of year. Can only imagine how popular this place gets in summer months.

If you love the beach no matter the weather than this is the place to go. Views are great, a shop just down the road or its a stroll down the beach, the lighthouse with it's coloured lights at night, its a serene place to be.
The Whakataki Hotel friendly and inviting staff with great meals!
