The location is very good, quiet yet close to the beach. The view of the waves from the lounge and master bedroom is very pleasant.

The whole glamping experience was awesome, and the fact it's only a 2-3 minute drive from the lakes was even better. We were in the tui tent and the shared facilities were spot on.
Julie welcomed us when we arrived and honestly all you need is your own food. The BBQ kitchen and utensils are all there for use which put me at ease cause we had no cutlery lol

The place is riverside with a nice view and a lot of privacy. The jacuzzi in the backyard we enjoy most because we stay there at valentines Day. They have chicken and ducks running around , soo cute and giving you fresh eggs if they like you 😀 This place is suggested for a family holiday

Very spacious, clean house. Where we were welcomed with a cupboard filled with different breakfast options! The view of the river is great and we felt very comfortable in the house. The host was very friendly, she even posted the adapters we had forgotten to our next destination! I would definitely recommend this accomodation!

Autumn holidays, quiet and relaxing,
only negative experience ( NOT CONNECTED TO THE BACH !!), fish and chips take away from local Sharkies-fish & chips, extremly unhappy about timeframe ( almost 1 for 4 bits of fish and 2 tiny hands of chips), quantity and quality of product-- can't recommend

The beach was very good for body boarding.
The beach was very good for body boarding. There were plenty of waves and the sea was quite shallow so the water was warmer than expected. There was a constant wind blowing when we were there which might not suit everyone. Within the village there was a well equipped shop and a restaurant come cafe come bar which served good food at a reasonable price. It is a really nice looking place ideal for a relaxing break.

The beach is an easy walk and typical of a west coast beach in that it is pretty windy and can be wild. We had great weather. The sand and waves were not too big yet could be huge I'd imagine.
We didn't eat at the only place in Baylys Beach preferring to pick up groceries in Dargaville and making our own food. I was told it was nothing special so went on recommendation.
Loads of birdsong and there were some groups of people partying around us but not obtrusive.
Great walk along the clifftop to the North of the Beach.
Loads to explore with kids.
