Beautiful property with lovely plants and flowers in the garden. I loved the location as it was a short walk to downtown town but far enough where it was quite through the night. Very clean and well cared for. Lots of windows for natural light and well ventilated. The owner was very kind and helpful. Probably my favourite accommodation during my 4 week stay in Nepal.

Pokhara is a charming and peaceful city, with nice bars, restaurants, and shops. It's much cleaner, than Kathmandu and is a nice relaxing place. The air is also cleaner and more humid. During my stay, the haze blocked the mountain views, but locals told me that the skies are usually clearer in October-November. Also, Pokhara is a starting point for many popular trekking routes, such as ABC, and is very convenient for last-minute trekking plans. For example, I did a 5-day track to Mardi Himal base camp, which was not planned, but a local company helped me to arrange everything and I also bought the missing equipment on the spot. Needless to say, the trekking was a magical experience. Pokhara is worth visiting once in Nepal.

Pokhara suffers from Forest Fires in April/May.
Pokhara suffers from Forest Fires in April/May. The sky is grey and filled with smog. Visibility is very poor and none of the surrounding mountains could be seen. Also the airport remains closed due to these weather conditions. Travel time on road between Kathmandu and Pokhara is almost 8 hours one way due to road projects.
One should travel later in the year when the visibility improves and the airport is open all day.

Sarangkot at sunrise was the highlight. The food was great.
Sarangkot at sunrise was the highlight. The food was great. It was disappointing to see so much trash around the lakeside. I am surprised YouTubers did not mention that point. We were glad we went there. We flew on Buddha Air from Kathmandu. On the day of our return back to Kathmandu, it was foggy and the flights were cancelled. We had stayed at Hotel Middle Path. I called them and they immediately sent the driver back to drive us to Kathmandu. Never have we had that type of service in all our travels.

Pl plan to go to Pokhara via Flight and not via road from kathmandu The roads are under construction and it would give your back a lot of work. Pokhara is nice and 2 day trip would complete most of the places there
We stayed at ABC on two occasions during our time in Nepal and we had a great experience both times! Very comfortable hotel in a perfect location. All staff are exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful. In particular, Manoj was always a friendly face and on hand to help with any queries we had. He even organised transport for us to get to Kathmandu when our flight was cancelled. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxed, comfortable and friendly stay in a central location in Lakeside.
Fantastic location with unimpeded Lake views. A big bonus is that the hotel has a lift - unlike many other Nepali hotels that only have stair access. I had a king room (with a view) which was large and very comfortable - top floor for rooms which I greatly recommend. Air conditioning was very effective. Hotel is located in an easy to access area of Pokhara with lots of nearby restaurants and shops. This hotel was only opened about 6 months ago and still is very clean and new. It was good value for money.
The staff of Hotel Chino Pokhara was outstanding. They greeted us with great kindness and respect. We received an upgrade to a larger room, with an amazing view due to the fact that we looked exhausted and we've had a crazy busride behind us, I'm assuming. At breakfast they asked us which kind of coffee we'd like and how we'd like our eggs, which I thought was a nice personal touch. The Hotel is located in the midst of Pokhara, near the lakeside path. An absolute recommendation!
This was my 6th visit to Pokhara. After Covid a lot has changed. And those places where I stayed previously closed down. But this Harmony Hotel was more than expected. The family run small property was very well maintained and clean. In Nepal electricity cut-down was normal everyday, but the solar panel on the roof was a good solution for such problems. And those solar panels were helpful for hot shower, and wifi connection. I will stay at this place if I visit Pokhara again.
Hotel Lakeshore has the cleanest and most comfortable bed I've slept in on my entire trip in Nepal. Location is great walkable to all lakeside shops and restaurants. The entire staff was wonderful but I have to mention Sanjog Adhikari the operations manager. The guy does it all airport transfers, hiking info and permits, arranging taxis, to room service with a smile and contagious upbeat attitude. He was definitely a highlight on my trip. Thank you!
Lovely homestay like hotel run by a beautiful family (Bishnu and Nisha) and staff (yea BJ!). They made sure we were well cared for and provided lots of great information as well as wonderful meals in their garden restaurant. Our room included a balcony where we could watch the sunrise and sunset over the lake. The location was a quick walk to the lakeside neighborhood. Lots of hot water and the WI-FI worked well. Would highly recommend!
Hotel Buttercup is my place to stay in Pokhara, excellent value for money in a family run small hotel. When you are on a budget I think this place is an excellent choice. Decent sized room, clean with airco, fan and good hot shower. Access to the balcony just outside the room. Quiet at night ( when the street dogs are behaving). And excellent location in walking distance to restaurants, lakeside and Pokhara's commercial center.
Everything! Lakeside is just few minutes of walking, grocery stores and restaurants are near by. Payment option is very convenient, by card which is rare in Nepal except in big hotels maybe. Hot water is so wonderful 24/7! And, lastly Buddhi is an excellent guide for trekking with a lot, I mean a lot of patience for someone like me (very slow). The best package for accommodations and for experiences.
The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. We had a mix-up with hotel bookings and so booked this last minute. We then had a flight cancellation late at night, and with one phone call, they booked us in for another night and arranged a car to pick us up from the airport. Thanks to all the staff for their help. Location is great and in the heart of Pokhara lakeside.
The place is very nice with large outdoor spaces and activities. The views are stunning and comforting for the eyes and mind. Zostel is a little bit far from the lakeside, Pokhara but the walk toward the lakeside is very soothing.
View from the room and balcony is worth the price.
We liked their staff and hospitality. They are nice, and friendly.
Hotel Luma is excellent hotel located in a prime location of Lakeside pokhara. staff are very friendly and helpful, they have very spacious room with comfy bed. the lakeview from their rooftop is one of the best things that can never be forgotten. The owner is very welcoming and always ready to help you.
A beautiful hotel located on Lakeside.
Our comfortable twin room had a beautiful view on the lake.
The staff was helpful, sympathetic and had a great sense of humor.
The Nepalese people was really the gem of our journey.
Raju, the cab driver linked to the hotel is highly recommended.
Namaste to All!
Hotel Shaara is a high quality hotel in the middle of the Fewa area of Pokhara, which is the main tourist hub. The staff were the highlight of this property. They are Nepalese so of course they are kind and capable.
Beautiful rooms, lovely rooftop, free luggage storage, amazing buffet breakfast.
The Hotel is a very clean and comfortable place with a lovely and caring host from China. This place was the best accommodation we had in Nepal! The hotel is located right at an entrance to Pewha Lake. A good breakfast is included. All in all highly to recommend!
It was the cleanest hotel room I’ve seen in Nepal! small and comfy, it had a beautiful view of the lake. the balcony and ceiling fan were great additions. Warm water came out fast. Madha, the hostess, was quick to help and serve in any way.
Just off the main Lakeside road. Good location. Well priced for the services provided. Rooms were not clean by western standards but ok by Nepal standards (dead beetles in the bathroom, soap on the floor from previous occupants, No towels)
Is my second time in blossom and for me is the best hotel in Nepal not only for the place but the staff, everything you can possibly need they can arrange and the food is amazing also
such a great hostel, we extended our trip twice! probably some of the biggest and most comfortable beds in all of Nepal haha! Great location on the Lakeside and very friendly staff.
