The bathroom was setup wonderfully, and the breakfast was better than any breakfast I’ve ever had!

Fabulous breakfast that goes far beyond the standard breakfast buffet with an option for hot dishes cooked to order and little breakfast appetizers and treats. Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. It's also nice that they have a tea/coffee stand with snacks available all day for people to use.

I love this place
Next time I will come back.
The bus ride from Tromso to Narvik had amazing scenery.
The bus ride from Tromso to Narvik had amazing scenery. We visited the Narvik war museum which was very large and extremely well curated. It covered the major world wars up to the current conflict in Gaza.
We had hoped to catch the Arctic Train to Sweden but part of the trip involved a replacement bus due to a derailment so we missed the most scenic parts of the train trip.

There is no bus going to Basecamp Narvik.
There is no bus going to Basecamp Narvik. The only options currently are car, taxi, walking uphill (approx. 30 minutes from downtown) or take a bus to the closest bus stop from which you have to walk some 10 minutes anyway. With the skilift you can go up to a restaurant and sightseeing platforms with fantastic views. I think Narvik is mainly a destination for nature lovers and nature related activities (hiking in summer and skiing in winter).

Quiet ski area. Interesting Arctic town.
Quiet ski area. Interesting Arctic town. Stunning fjords and mountains. Not very focused on international tourists. Good dining options are limited, but service everywhere good. Transport from airport by hire car (recommended) out by airport bus.

Narvik is a good gateway to northern Norway.
Narvik is a good gateway to northern Norway. We stayed only for one night and then continued to Lofoten. There is a famous cable car above the city but it is enough just to get to the lower station of the cable car and there is almost the same view as from the top. The weather is unpredictable and changes quickly.

Narvik is a very pretty and friendly township set along the very beautiful fjords. Delicious cod and local beer at fiskeroken restaurant. Bus ride to Polar Park was a scenic delight and got to see lynx, wolves, deer and bear. Mountain ranges are a stunning snow covered winter wonderland. Train ride to Narvik is amazingly beautiful and breathtaking. Get that camera out!
The hotel is in a good central location, with easy access to bus connections and shopping. The facilities made the impression of being more or less up-to-date and well-maintained, wifi access was good, and the room would also be suitable for occasional work on a shorter business trip. Breakfast is simple but excellent in quality, staff is friendly and very helpful. This hotel will definitely be among the places I will check for accommodation on my next trip to Narvik.
We spent 3 wonderful nights in Basecamp Narvik. The view from the window was amazing! Because the hotel is new everything was still very fresh and clean. I like the design and concept - you are sort of in a hotel but at the same time you have your own apartment with everything you need. Easy access to the appartment (with a code, not a key). The skilift is just 100 m from the hotel (for those who go to Narvik for skiing).
The hotel is clean and modern. We appreciated that the hotel is located in the center of Narvik, walking distance to restaurants (Italian, Chinese, Nordic). The hotel also has a great on-site restaurant and roof top bar on the 16th floor with amazing views mountains and fjords. Parking was easy, there is an underground garage underneath the hotel.
Small but well-equipped, a nice kitchen and common room. The place felt spacious, although we did visit at a quiet time, it's probably livelier in summer. The place was being renovated but we weren't bothered by those renovations, which is a good sign. Also very cheap compared to other places in Narvik!
The place was very clean and welcoming with clear instructions for checkin & checkout. The host was helpful in giving directions specific to our request about parking, airport bus etc.. really pleased and will surely recommend to others. Will definitely come back to stay here when we visit Narvik again.
big hotel with a nice rooftop bar. very good breakfast. if you are by car, do ask reception about longer term parking possibility as it is all super misleading in the parking itself. the personnel at the rooftop bar did everything they could to keep the guests happy on NYs. Thank you for that !!
Nicely located hotel with great views of Narvik.
Common areas for drinking coffee are nice, comfortable with a view, coffee and tea available.
Very good breakfast in a pleasant place with the already mentioned view.
Parking on the street, but close and free of charge.
During Covid, the Budget rooms are not used, and I was given a room at the Thon hotel, which was nice. The breakfast was great! I was looking for something cheaper but found nothing else in the town. So this is not a cheap hostel, but it was very comfortable.
The hotel has an outside patio with a nice view. Our room also had a nice view (4th floor) overlooking the city and the fjord. The breakfast was very impressive, with options for all 3 of us- the vegetarian, the carnivore and the carb-lover.
Excellent Narvik location, easy walking distance to most of the town. Clean and comfortable, excellent communications from the owners. Snacks and refreshments were a nice, bonus treat.
Lovely small apartment in the center of Narvik. All facilities within walking distance. Responsive host. Full blackout curtains allowing us to sleep well in spite of the midnight sun.
Great place! Far exceeded my expectations. As well as the hotel side, the staff really care about food both with hotel breakfasts and with the excellent restaurant downstairs.
Hotel is close to the Narvikfjellet resort so when you want to ski and don't have a car, this is the hotel to take. Breakfast was superb and plenty to choose from.
The hotel was close to Narvik railway station, which was an easy walk for our trip the following day. All staff were super helpful. The breakfast was excellent.
Great property for our very short stay in Narvik, comfortable and warm. Perfectly placed for city centre and local restaurants as well the Flybussen stop.
