The hotel is well located in a peaceful and quiet surrounding, away from urban areas, with ample parking.
It was for us the ideal place to arrive on Friday evening and do daytrips to Schokland and the wider area on the following weekend days. The forest next to the hotel, with its interesting history (engineering models for waterworks,...) was a welcome and surprising plus. Even on a rainy Sunday, we enjoyed a long walk there on the concrete paths.
Everything felt brand new (and was brand new in fact). The breakfast was great, and also the DuCo restaurant offers great diner options, which we gladly used.
Comfort of the roomy hotelrooms is high level, and the choice of colours in the rooms and hotel creates a relaxing atmosphere.
Also to be mentioned of course is the very friendly and professional staff who make the picture perfect! Thank you!

I liked every aspect of my stay. From the receptionists, facilities, beds, rooms, bathrooms, location, being affordable. The hostel is made for socializing and for having a me-time as well. I would recommend 100%.
Stadspaleis hotel was the best hotel we stayed in for a long time. The hotel stands in a beautiful position, the staff was very helpful and friendly, public rooms were lovely and full of history, the comfortable bedrooms were well equipped and the restaurant was very cosy and served excellent food. Our stay of 1 night was too short and we hope to return there for a longer stay in the not too distant future.
An exceptional hotel in all respects: Unpretentious luxury, attention to detail, a most friendly and efficient staff, signs of the owner's good taste and love for quality abundant everywhere from the immaculately maintained gardens down to the smallest decorative artifact.
