The hotel is very well managed. It totally beats the renowned brands with a high quality furniture and personal touch. I liked the small details like that the fact that they use real nespresso capsules, not the cheap ones used in very prominent chains. In such a small hotel was a pleasant surprise to find an elevator. Another great feature is the small fridge in the room, which proved very handy with restaurants closing at 17:00 due to Covid measures in Netherlands.

They where also great with the covid situation cause customers where able to use table and chairs in the breakfast area to eat there dinner that had to get delivered and had glasses and utensils available to use. Best. House. Ever! A typical Dutch house in a nice residential neighborhood but just at the end of the main shopping street, great location. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Schagen is a very nice town, has everything you need and is close to the beach and the dunes, without all the tourists. This place was perfect for us.

The Tuinhuis is a very comfortable place that is super convenient to the train station and central Schagen. Very clean and well maintained. Jans ans Fia are gracious host who are readily available if needed. Parking is just across the street.
The location is excellent, in the centre of Schagen, close to all the bars and restaurants and a short walk from the train station.

I spend 10 days travelling, this hotel gave me the best night sleep. The restaurant is good, breakfast splendid (although I did not us much). We could have a meeting in the breakfast room, with reasonable level of privacy.
