It was beautiful. Very upscale, rather modern though very hygge…Our room looked over a green, sedum covered roof. We had an outdoor sitting area and it was very private. Totally loved having a luxurious tub bath. The bed was very firm and so comfortable. Being really close to the national park was wonderful too.

Pretty quiet. Very comfortable. Plenty of chairs and sofa so living room was great for 4 people. One bathroom was good. Good coffee maker and teas. Enjoyed the birds outside and nice yard. The hosts gave me the lock box number when we called.

Instructions were phenomenally accurate. The place is literally in the middle of the forest. Birds chirping, calm and quiet are overwhelming. Coby is such a great communicator, and very prompt with his responses. The only thing we didn't like was that we didn't have more time to spend in this lovely place.

Great house with 2 sleeping rooms, kids loved their room! Our house was out of common space, so it was quite and private, only trees next to windows. Perfect! We loved it! Also loved the forest around, waterpool, and personal. Waterpool was quite cold, well, not sure if it's a common practice in Netherlands :)

Hotel location is perfect for visiting the Kröller-Müller Museum and bike ride in National park, which is very beautiful. The hotel is very comfortable with excellent spa (sauna, steam-room, pool...). Breakfast is very good an affordable. Restaurant is excellent but you have to pre-book regular dinner ahead of time - it was fully booked when we were staying and we had dinners in bar area, comfortable but less fancy.

A visit to the the Kroller Muller Museum in Otterlo is...
A visit to the the Kroller Muller Museum in Otterlo is highly recommended! Aside from a great collection of fine art, there are also beautiful sculptures scattered around the huge property grounds. Its a very beautiful place both outside and inside. This is a must visit when going to the Netherlands.

Otterlo - being one of the entrances into the Hoge Veluwe...
Otterlo - being one of the entrances into the Hoge Veluwe National Park is exactly what you would expect from a town with about 2000 inhabitants. It has everything you would expect: A well-stocked super market, a few other shops, a handful of restaurants. While it is served with bi-hourly buses from nearby NS stops Ede, Arnhem and Barneveld, if you go anywhere Hoge Veluwe you will need a car.

We went to the museum and on forest walks - the 'otterlose bos - jeneverbessenbos ' walk is really lovely. Otterlo & its shops is closed on a sunday, so come prepared. Overall very friendly & beautiful surroundings

The Kröller-Müller museum with its sculpture park is a pearl...
The Kröller-Müller museum with its sculpture park is a pearl as is the surrounding park where you can see around on free rental bikes ("white bikes"). A deser-like landscape with sand dunes and dead trees in the middle of a perfectly normal forest - a bit otherwordly.

Beautiful small village with, we had amazing time there. We chosed this place due its entrance into National Park, where we spent lovely day. We enjoyed the local restaurant, where we had fantastic food. I only wish we stayed there for more days than we did. Definitely woul love to go back,
The location is beyond perfect; one is a 10 minute walk from the Otterloo entrance to the Hoge Veluwe Park. The hotel itself is situated in the middle of the woods, with trails leading out basically from its terrace into the typical Veluwe landscape.
The breakfast was great. The buffet may seem a bit less generous than some other places but this is a false impression. One can select from a wide ranging menu, all made fresh to order.
The staff is utterly charming and helpful without ever sounding insincere.
The beds were excellent.
It's a surprisingly modern holiday home: Both the kitchen equipment as well as the furniture and general look are up to an apartment in the city It's quiet in a good way (mostly - a bit of garden work was going on during my stay), and a short walk from Otterlo itself!
The room was an appropriate size and clean, so was the bathroom. The restaurant is in the hotel, and the service of all hotel employees was great (they are all kind, professional and helpful). The Wellness facilities were lovely albeit a tad smaller than I expected.
I really liked the proximity to the Hoge Veluwe Park. You could really go by walk if you want to. The town is nice and quiet. The hotel is nice and is a good value for the price.
